I don't get it. The car has so much grip on turn-in, such a pointy front end, followed by a random burst of understeer mid corner, followed by sudden grip again at the slightest movement. It feels like I'm playing a more "grounded" version of F1 2004. I don't really know how to explain it.

Also, why is it so easy to ride and abuse kerbs and why do I get bursts of grip while going over them?

Sure, F1 23 suffered a lot from understeer, too much at times, but now nothing seems to make sense.

I'll change the review IF they ever change the driving model.

It's a very good start. It's been a while since we got an official Le Mans game and this doesn't fall short of the mark.

The handling is superb.
The tracks are incredibly well reproduced.
The sounds are it's best feature, they are 1:1 with the official onboards.
It's also very good on a controller, good feedback and handling. Tho haptic feedback on the Dualsense would be great if you guys ever consider it.

There are a few negatives to point out. First of all is the starting grid if you choose to skip qualifying, it completely mixes up the grid instead of mixing the cars per classes. Which means a race might start with a GTE P1 and an LMP2 P2.

I'd say there is a slight lack of polish, definitely needs to be more well optimized. The stutters are the worst part.

But it'll get there, it's a very good start nonetheless.

This game is pretty much what I expect. It's a direct port from the Arcade game, featuring some of the more recent content. For all who've played DBH Ultimate Mission 1, 2 and X you are going to be very familiar with it.

For those who don't know, this is not a typical TCG, it's a Data Cardass game. It's the first time DBH has come to the west and it's completely translated (no eng voices tho).
It's a card game where the focus is on gameplay with quick time events and the characters and their stats, rather than the use of the card itself.
You've got almost every character in the history of Dragon Ball available for you to play, although the mechanics are light, it's still got quite a good bit of strategy in it with the 3 types of heroes and their abilities/CAA and TAA's.
You can get new cards by either playing the Arcade/Story missions or by getting 'Gacha Tickets'. You can get rare or normal Gacha Tickets by, again, playing the Arcade/Story missions, there's no microtransactions involved either, just like there weren't on Ultimate Mission 1, 2 and X.

The only thing missing is the previous content before SDBH1 and the more recent after Universe Mission 1.
Seeing SteamDB there's already a lot of DLC planned, so hopefully, it's the missing expansions.

Nonetheless, I'm enjoying it so far, It's exactly what it needed to be. Is it expensive at 50€? absolutely, but if you like Heroes then you know what you're getting into and it's worth it with the amount of content there is.

P.S. As much as I like Xenoverse, I'm glad it's not another fighting game after fighting game after fighting game. They did good in bringing it to the west.

This is not a remaster but a literal remake. This has absolutely set the bar and a new standard for how classics should be remade.
Well done Capcom.

I have had this game for over a year now. Played it from time to time. It's pretty fun and quite a good chunk of features.
It handles pretty well with a controller and recognizes it immediately, tho the AI still needs some tweaking as they'll run into the back of my car far too often on slow corners.
The costumization is also pretty complete, a ton of liveries to choose from and you can, obviously, edit it, hopefully they'll eventually let us freely place our sponsors too. And the track generator works very well, giving you unlimited options.

Recently the devs made this game F2P with an option to pay for the full features as "Premium" and giving those who had already purchased it for free (as you'd expect). I don't know if making it F2P was the best option for new players who might want to try this out, particularly locking the complete single player content with it, from what I'm reading.

Nonetheless as a 'full' user since I've bought it, I'm pretty happy with it. It's a game that, although is no pure sim, it's arcady fun.
Hopefully the 'Championship mode' and the car crafting comes soon, as those as two things this game needs.

This game is fantastic. Easily one of the best experiences on a Sim, having played rFactor 2, RaceRoom...etc.
I play both on a wheel and on a controller and works flawlessly on both (tho I still want them to let us edit the buttons on the controller without having to configure it as a wheel). The ffb on the controller is surprisingly good, didn't expect to have any, at all.

The handling it's also very realistic with the physics having to be applauded, in the end also fun. The amount of times the game has punished me for going over an "orange-sausage-kerb" too aggressively tells me just how realistic it is and how impactful the physics are.
It has probably the best weather physics too, few games have punished you like this game does if you push it too far and the aquaplaning is great, along side Project CARS 2 it has simulated them very well.

The graphics are superb, which should be no surprise considering it's running on UE4 but they've done a great job polishing it out. Tho the texture pop-ins while choosing the car can be annoying and ugly.

The sound is second to none, only RaceRoom comes close. The sound of the dirt and rubber going into the pods, the sound of kerbs, the different engines and downshifts...etc. They got everything right.

This that need to be fixed are:
- Sometimes the rolling start can bug out and leave other cars way behind;
- Cars slow down massively making them "ghost out" during the entrance to the pits after the victory lap;
- AI cars don't seem to get affected by cold tires/breaks during the first lap while the player has to manage theirs leaving us with an disadvantage.

Nonetheless it far exceeded my expectations and truly gives us a chance to partake in one of the best racing categories today (which are free to watch on Youtube).

----- old review whilst on Early Access -----

A good foundation from which to build upon.

Better AI and the weather system is very welcomed.

Locking previously open for free to play mountains, that's a very terrible ideia. But locking Sialia behind a pay wall? That's a big no.
