(just an fyi im putting down that i got this for free because a friend of mine got for me bc i got a copy of xcom 2 for him. it was more of a trade off than a gift. moving on)

I mean, it's a game that's apparently made more money than any movie, game or book in history, so you'd think it'd be fairly bug free/contantly getting work on.

HAHAHAHAH NO.
The game's online mode is riddled with hackers, and rockstar doesn't care. The only part about hacking they give a ♥♥♥♥ about is free money, and that's the one part that everyone likes. This game is SUPER grindy, I would know. Let's have a little story about how this game's support is ass.
One week in the middle of summer 2017, I was grinding the hell out of the game, wanting to get enogugh to never need to grind again. I went through 20 cups of coffee, a few dozen monsters and rockstars (YES I KNOW I DRANK ROCKSTAR WHILE PLAYING A ROCKSTAR GAME ITS FUNNY HAHA) and ♥♥♥♥ like that until I finally did it. I got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 20mil legit. Then I got a few thousand from a modder. Once the Gunrunning update dropped, (WHICH I WAS SUPER HYPED FOR BTW) I lost my 20mil. I called rockstar and they said that ALL of my money was earned illegitimatly. I haven't touched the game since.
I got enjoy the gameplay. It's fun as hell to just drive around while listening to music and killing people. But, the modders and rockstar themselves kinda kill the fun. Pick it up if you want, I do recommend it. But, be careful with multiplayer.
