I am so happy to get one of my favourite games running on a modern PC.
Red Alert 2 is a classic RTS, a genre I hope will be reborn one day. I hope EA will go with a remastered versions of RA2 and TibSun just as they did remasters of RA1 and Tiberian Dawn.

A great remaster with huge attention to details. Not as hardcore as the original from 1995, but still sometimes challenging (in a good way).
The visual design is very appealing and remastered soundtrack brings me excitement goosebumps.
Story is a bit rewritten, but makes more sense than the original and overall plot is not changed. Now it brings you bits of lore gradually, not throwing everything in your face at the very beginning.

The biggest drawback is a couple of bugs as well as not-so-good NPC's pathfinding. But I hope this is something that's going to be fixed with patches soon enough.
There are also minor translation issues that I hope will be fixed soon.

Despite the drawbacks this is an amazing game that I would recommend to everybody who's keen to try something different.

This is like a Christmas present - a whole remake of a 90s game, which actually feels super modern and fresh.
Can't wait for the full release! 💙

Despite many issues on launch, now all of them are fixed and IMO this this game really feels (and plays) now like the original VC from 20 years ago. I do miss my childhood, and the GTA remasters make a good job helping me re-live the good memories 🥲

That's just a port from tablet version.
I actually expected more than that. All those 'enhanced graphics' only stand for interface in the menu and inventory.
Well, at least gamepad is supported. I don't feel like clicking mouse to move around the screen and do stuff.
The sequel is much more playable.

UPD:

Ok, so now there's also a good old dos version of the game, totally compatible with modern PCs. Nicely done, it's such a nostalgy to re-experience Twinsen's adventures.
