Just like most beloved things from the past brought to the modern day with a sequel it was gutter, promoted as something it's not, and half-assed.

Just a quick TLDR
1. You amass a stockpile of broken guns that would make Viktor Bout blush, Yet can't do anything with them. Nothing... & they persist. No Selling, or Stripping, hell Break AKs into firewood. Nope Just exist.....

2. A-Life 2.0 is really just boolean statements that ((If Player goes within X) spawn Y Actor)) = Z Times; This is fraud. They marketed it as a successor to Stalkers original A-Life A.I. Which weren't scripts but a dynamic intelligence system. They marketed it this way up until an hour before release & removed description off of the steam store.
What this means is if you don't have the brain of a gold-fish to realize what's going on, every engagement is artificial & Jarring.

3. Plug in your Xbox 360, or PS3 put ANY shooter from that era in, and shoot an enemy. See how he flinched/Reacted to it? This game doesn't have that.
Now go on Youtube & type in Paintball cheater not calling his hits! This is what the combat consists of. it's The Division without health-bars.
Everything is a bullet sponge with no reactionary elements & due to this the devs gave you weaponry in the past titles it took 15-20 hours of gameplay within twenty minutes to compensate for the damage soaking enemies are doing lol!

Essentially everything required to make an open-world Exploration/Survival game they failed on, so this is a cool 3D-Pong? I guess?

Half baked tech demo. PVP Cheaters already in every other match aim-botting with Heavy/Snipers.
Loading screens galore, minimal progression, and stutters everywhere. Faulty Servers over 100ping on day1 with fiber??
I'm good not worth more than 20$ for a Hell-divers clone.

Game will be GOTY, Devs are responsive, and listen to community feedback on issues. If they keep a solid content pipeline this game will continue to get played longer than LFD2.....Would you like to know more?

I would not recommend playing this game, the company itself is the problem. They make the game extremely unfair unless you decide to play a favorite nation that rhymes with ussia.
There is blatant bias, features, prototype vehicles, armament given to these vehicles where on other nations you're flying an F16C with Aim7's versus the Aim120's that was only equipped on this aircraft.
They are greedy AF, they killed the economy of the game for more profit margins, and introduced blatantly op premiums to double up on the cash flow.
They lie & cherry pick what their game design flow is supposed to be, yet it's thrown out the window if its a Russian vehicle.

Neat idea, wasn't pulled off you never feel like a crazy undead creature of the night rather than a peasant trying to build a house with a skin condition.
Bosses are annoying to fight rather than fun. Slows/Grabs/stuns/Massive damage/Adds spawn they essentially give the bosses all the creature comforts with a different appearance and zero individuality.
Then if you happen to run into a difficult boss fight that melts your gear enjoy the repair cost grinds to re-establish yourself. Both playthroughs upon release, and after a year stopped at level 60.
I was a high elo Battlerite player who had high hopes for this game, and I'll never return to the title.

Starting off I had this game gifted to me so this is as unbiased as it comes..... I've watched numerous game-play of it back when it was under closed testing, and in all honesty I was on the fence because it didn't look that fun.
About an hour in, and to my surprise I was having a decent time playing SCAV's even though I was getting curb-stormped American-X style. But truthfully the clunky controls were driving me nuts so I decided to swap to HUNTERS.

The Hunter side of thing were fairly fun the controls were much more fluid, and responsive than the SCAV's. I was enjoying myself, and my High-skill cap in DBD "killer" transferred over perfectly to this game, and I started to get a bit competitive with it but towards the end I started to see a lot of flaws in the games design.

1. The game is favored towards the SCAV's by a large margin. (8 Minutes to take out 5 SCAVS or else you lose). They can do the OBJS or as one of the last few alive just hide in one of the numerous bushes to avoid you the entire game, and you have little to no recourse to find them.

2. Like in DBD the Dev's catered the game around the "Survivors" to the point to where they are borderline over-powered individually, and there are multiple of them able to work together. Towards the last hour of my two hour game-play experience I finally got paired with a pre-made. To my surprise the game felt exactly like the early days of DBD where the "Killer" is getting bullied by flashlights. In this example it's "heals" there are arrows that can instantly pick someone up preventing you from downing them. Also when you kill someone they go rag-dolling across the map with no marker or indicator. This again helps them especially with all the brush, cracks, and crevices to hide in. So you must locate your downed person to execute, and if it took you 20-60 seconds to kill this slippery SCAV, and find them. Ultimately it was effectively a time sink. Boom across a football fields length arrow to full HP, rinse repeat over and over again. Remember that 8 Minute timer I told you about? There are Five SCAVS to kill, and if you're facing a pre-made two or three of these can easily be healers which is the best perk in the game....You can tell how the game plays out.

3. Community is what you'd expect in a game like this especially if you're familiar with the Dev's, and community from DBD. One of the two available character types (Killer/Survivor) are absolutely overpowered, and there are nothing but discussions wanting more buffs for the OP, and NERF's for the under-powered, and everyone in between with pitchforks screaming I WANT THIS or I WANT THAT! Which would ultimately hinder the game further from a development, and gameplay stand-point so just like DBD the dev's have to go on a limb, and make decisions on where the game's direction should lean towards. Which history is known to repeat itself they don't typically do well on their own, and when the Dev's make these mistakes they like to blame the community.

4. Graphically it's beautiful in a dark murderous kind of way but also confusing. There's a lot of brush, there's a weird haze/fog in all the maps, and there's a lot of ruined structures and the like that blurr the screen especially when everyone is running like Usain Bolt. The maps are very cluttered so again remember the hiding aspect some SCAV's utilize? Another way of catering to the SCAV players.

5. Performance wise it ran very well. No bugs, No technical issues so I give this a A+.

All in all I do not recommend this game this is just DBD 2.0 Cashgarden. They're making the same mistakes as the previous title, and it's essentially a faster paced version of it with guns.

Personally I uninstalled it after the Pre-made game encounter because I saw enough of that from DBD to know how the development will ultimately impact the game in a negative manner. Goodluck in deciding whether or not to purchase the game. - Para
