Straightforward, fun and beautiful. I have a bad habit of not completing games after I buy them, but the story of Ryse moved at a pace that made me want to continue playing just to see what happened next, and the combat was very enjoyable to, even if I didn't realize you could buy additional finisher animations with xp points until the second to last mission of the game.
