I've explored nearly every tower defense game available on the market, and unfortunately, this one didn't resonate with me for several reasons, outlined below. Despite my personal preferences, I acknowledge the years of hard work that undoubtedly went into developing this game, and I commend your creativity. Keep pushing the boundaries, even if this particular experience wasn't to my liking.

Here are some detailed reasons why I found it challenging to enjoy the game, making it difficult for me to recommend to friends:

The math system seemed to miss the mark, primarily impacting the limited tower placements, which left me feeling disappointed.
The game took a considerable amount of time to gain momentum. Even after investing multiple stages, it still demanded what felt like a slow building process and presented levels that seemed unengaging. I prefer games that allow me to experiment with various tower placements.
I wasn't a fan of the game's tendency to play itself for me in the early stages. I get tower defense, I just want to play a well balanced system. Maybe this came in much later stages, I gave up after about the 8th stage.
The story mode proved to be confusing, although I appreciated the option to turn it off.
The currency systems, both on the home page and in-game, were perplexing.
Some missions felt nearly impossible, necessitating forward progress and then revisiting earlier levels with limited monsters and abilities. This gave the impression of a pay-for-play dynamic that might have been converted into a pay-for-the-game model.

Once again, I commend your efforts in creating this game, even though it may not align with my gaming preferences. Cheers

Great game. Better than the 1st, only downside is In later levels when there are a lot of enemies on the board, my computer has issues processing everything and will crash.

Great game! I loved the first one, even played/tested the version on FB games while available. Great progression. I bought this a few months after reliese so missed any problems that were fixed, as the game plays great.

Great to see the team focused on constant updates and additional DLC/Maps. Keep them coming. This is my favorite tower defense, and I have played a lot of them. There is a bit of a curve for new players for the franchise, so recommend jumping in and by a few maps you will love it. Highly recommend to Tower Defence lovers in general. Better played on controller of sorts and lesser so on keyboard.

To PixelJunk, I would recommend the ability to allow players to make their own maps (SDK maybe), but this is coming from someone with offical maps in TF2. ;) Ability to change keyboard keys or tell where they link would be great in future updates. Thanks team, great work!

I have played a lot of tower defense games. Overall I would recommend this game and would rank it in a top 10 tower defense games category.

Pros:
-Extensive gameplay
-Smart balance and upgrades
-Good amount of levels
-Good and unique character balance
-Demo gives you a good taste of what to expect

Cons:
-Level upgrade limits to 9 (desired one or two more)
-Limit of character upgrades of 60
-Due to the two above, there are a last 2 or 3 levels that were not possible to complete.

Desired (or recommended to the Defender's Quest team):
-The map is a cool concept but felt there could have been a couple of paths in the desert with some unique desert concept or monster
-Custom level designer

One of the better Tower Defence Games out there. Could use more levels and towers is the only downside.
