I can recognize the game for being new and very good for it's time but it definitely aged like milk, very repetitive and at times clunky, don't even get me started on the final 30% of the game where all you do is constantly fight dozens and dozens of enemies one after the other, that truly ruined the whole experience for me, tho I can see it's appeal in the open world, albeit the 3 cities almost feel the same just with minor differences and a coat of filter slapped on, they felt believable. Ubisoft has always been good at crafting great worlds (and nothing else) I enjoyed the first 10 or so hours of the game but it just goes downhill from there, also no subtitles and proper controller support had me fixing the game with mods,
Assassin's Creed 1 was a pretty awful experience but still sorta impressive at the same time for a 2007 game
here's hoping AC2 is actually good.
