Coming back after full launch I've had such fun with Coral Island. The festivals are functional (With the exception of the New Year festival which had nobody with anything to say at all when I tried to talk to them), the animals, crops and automation are amazing. The characters and their heart events are cute even though I have no idea how to trigger some of them (I actually think the characters are quite strong and memorable and love them all).

I previously said that the game would likely be worth it down the road and I strongly feel that even though it still needs some bugfixing and improvement, there's more than enough to keep you hooked. I've run through almost 2 years now, finished MOST of the offerings and museum and I'm still having fun.

Give it a try.

I got this for a birthday gift 2 nights ago and can't figure out why I can't stop.

Fun but worth noting that this gives me pretty intense motion sickness and I have no idea why.

I have legitimately no clue what I'm doing but I'm having fun anyway.

To those who don't know, this is an auto-battler. Similar to Teamfight Tactics or Dota Underlords but instead of just watching the units, you drive them.

I'm still figuring out what's good but what's here is VERY fun and addicting. The value is real.

Came back to edit exclusively to mention just how good the music in this game is. You WILL bop to it.

I know it doesn't show that many hours on steam but I have played countless hours on GoG and mobile up until this point. This game is one of the greatest F2P card games. It rewards the player greatly and fairly, the devs listen and keep the game fresh by frequently releasing new sets, seasonal events, and more. If you enjoy other digital card games, please give this a try.

I feel as though I've put enough into this to give my opinions. Storywise, the game is enticing. The interactions between characters are great and the combat is fun. Character customization is slightly limited at this time, as the full content is not yet available, but that's not to say that the game is without it, in fact, it has a staggering amount of customization for something in early access.

The main problem at this time is in the sheer quantity of bugs and crashes. I had to go through one fight early in the game SEVEN times to actually get through it without crashing. Since that point, it's been much less of an issue, but still happens occasionally.

If you're okay with noticeable lack of polish at this time but want something interesting, strategic and with great characters and story, bite the bullet, because it's worth it overall. When this game gets fixed up a little and the bugs get ironed out, it'll be an amazing piece of work just like Larian's other games. I trust them to do a good job with it and listen to their community.

Don't let the early access tag scare you, this game is worth the money.

I've had a great time playing this. Big numbers and satisfying sounds on head shots. Fun guns with random mods but it takes a bit to learn which mods are good on which guns.

Two characters to play at the moment. Both are very different from each other.

At the time of this review I haven't played the multiplayer, but if it runs anywhere near as smoothly as the main game, it'll be a fun time once a few friends actually pick it up.

So I've had this game for 2 days and I have 22 hours. It's hard not to draw comparisons to Slay the spire and after 1300 hours of that, it's a refreshing change to the format Slay the Spire developed.

I'm still figuring out some of the builds but controlling the 3 levels makes for very interesting strategic play.

Looking forward to playing a lot more.

The gameplay is fun, interesting and keeps you thinking. The game features, while initially lacking have been slowly coming with time and are being added very regularly to bring this game up to the usual standards of a McMillen game. Indefinitely replayable, addicting and fun.

After a few hours I can safely say that it's pretty good.

Edit: A couple hours later, it's still pretty good.
