This game just didn't capture me in its first hour and was in fact rather frustrating. I'm not great at these kind of games and the backtracking makes me feel like I am wasting my time. I have pushed through this in some cases like Hollow Knight where the vibes were enough to pull me through. But not this one I guess. Maybe some better accessibility options would help.

Enjoyable but the repetitiveness certainly wears on you after a while.

Great story and characters throughout. The evolution of the main character throughout the story is done very well. The overall presentation is gorgeous and you will find yourself staring at the scenery in awe throughout. The sword play is excellent although I did feel it became stale around the 30 hour mark. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my time with it.

This was just ok. Yes, this game looks gorgeous. Also, the variety of guns is kind of fun even though individually they are pretty one-note. But ultimately, I just didn't like the writing / story. It was very childish and not like Toy Story childish but like Despicable Me childish. This was my first exposure to the franchise and I don't think I need to return.

The storytelling in this game is absolutely phenomenal. Amazing characters, ambiance, themes, dialogue, story. Maybe the best in video game history? I can see how some could get tired of the gameplay but the short runtime of the game keeps things relatively fresh through. Just a thoroughly excellent and heartbreaking experience.

Although performance was not perfect, I did not have any issues that detracted from the experience.

Very much the first game but more. Decent story, excellent presentation, decent characters, decent gameplay, monotonous open world check lists. All-in-all still enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Great vibes mixing cutesy animation with cult themeing. Game feels great, looks great, doesn't overstay its welcome, has a decent number of mechanics.

Enjoyed the game. Pretty good story. Not as drawn out as the original. Gameplay and movement still feels great. But... game crashed way too much. At one point I also had a corrupted save that I manually had to workaround.

A very well written visual novel where randomness helps keeps thee story interesting. I especially enjoyed the last couple chapters. Doesn't overstay its welcome. Also, cats.
