I'm about 1/3 of the way through the game and overall it's great so far. The audio, story, world, and progression choices are all good. Combat could maybe use some work, but it's still fun. Maybe as I get farther into the game it will improve. I haven't ran into many bugs. Maybe 1 or 2 but nothing game breaking. The driving is clunky and not much fun.

Amazing casual procedural generated space explorer.
Casual relaxing survival loot/exploration vibes.
Graphics are fairly solid.
Go from planet to planet, solar system to system.
Base building under water and above ground with depth I'm yet to touch at 60 hours.
The main missions aren't especially hard but do take some time.
Upgrade your ships, gun/multitool technology, character inventory, freighter and fleet - the freighter is like a mothership where you can visit all your ships and have a lot of base functions/modules and you can customize it
And the whole experience is done nearly seamlessly
If you load up the game be prepared to be immersed for at least 2-3 hrs!
Stayed up too late for work the next morning with this one, it's fun, relaxing and addictive

The only con would be that I wish they had more co-op incentives. You can do missions as a group from the anomaly (instantly summon-able space station) but sometimes it takes up to 10-15 mins for someone to join your group and they rarely communicate. You don't really need to communicate but I think the game could benefit more from an online community vibe

Also I kind of wish the creatures had a bit more variety in their parts. And maybe the purchasable space ships too. Each one kind of has their own thing but from from an overall perspective 85% of the creatures are manbearpig/bird/fish to where you end up running into the same boar with goat horns

Definitely worth checking out!

Personally I like the combat in this more than the latest Smash Bro games. The movement in MultiVersus feels more fluid to me. I didn't like Smash Brawl or Ultimate because the movement felt a bit more stiff than in previous games, like if you move a direction you're more committed to it, where in this it lets you turn and punch a bit faster. The characters are not that hard to unlock, it's like Apex where it's free to login and you get points to unlock the characters, which it's faster to unlock everything than Apex.

The characters are awesome and I have a feeling they're gonna add a lot. I have a small fear they might add some ridiculous characters that almost don't make sense like a T-Rex or something from Jurassic Park. But that's kind of the name of the game.

One of the only cons I have so far is that the menu's and vibe seem to be aimed at a younger audience yet if you mark your age under 18 you are blocked from online play. Given there's no text chat in the game they could probably lower that restriction to 13 like most other games. I'm not under 18 so it's not a problem for me but a lot of young folks are gonna have to learn how to show hidden files in Windows to access the .sav file in AppData to reset their age.

The graphics aren't amazing, it's mainly just 2D animations, but the colors are nice and the animations are smooth. They suit the game play enough for it not to be bothersome.

Overall I think this game has the potential to be one of the most popular games over the next few years

Space Sim MMO with a free market and open PvP. You level up over time to unlock upgrades which is faster with the premium account. Then there's various activities you can do to gain ISK or progress through the story. There's only 1 server globally with 10,000(+?) star systems, 4 factions and around 15-25k players in Spring 2022. It's more like a strategy game than a flight sim with the way you operate your ship. And It might not be as "open world" as some might expect in space because there's different areas you warp to through warp gates. It is vast and open, just with instanced areas.

One interesting thing about EVE is it has some future "metaverse" potential. Personally I think the term metaverse is kind of wack because online games have done similar things all along (without blockchain). EVE is a great example of that. One newer feature in the game is analyzing charts of COVID-19 responses to immune systems. This saves real scientists a lot of time by gathering human data for a large chunk of information. The game-play of it is mainly just a time killer way in game to earn money, it's also scored by accuracy. The idea is fascinating and for me maybe even a bit frightening. Why haven't we been using video games to benefit science on a mass scale more often?

But don't let all that excite you too much. Eve is not for everyone. It's a bit slow, there's a big learning curve, it can be frustrating if you get ganked with something pricey, it's hard to trust anyone in game. You need premium to get the best ships, and it's admittedly pretty p2w

But it's a chill, realistic sci fi MMO for casual and hardcore gamers with a nice atmosphere, cool UI system, active devs/mods, and a lot of history.

TLDR Better than Star Trek Online and arguably the best space MMO

A nice way to add viewer interaction to your stream. It's a bit pricey compared to other stream extensions and in my opinion should be open source but for now it's the best option of its kind. There's a couple alternatives but Stream Avatars has the most in depth features and customization. You can create or download your own avatar sprites and every user can choose from the pool of characters you create. This can help give viewers an identity in your channel and increase retention. The animations are smooth and the activities are fun.

I do have a couple grievances though. If you want to add more characters you have to pay an extra 5$. I guess if you use it a lot it could be well worth it but adding a few extra (30!) MB of avatar space as a DLC is a bit shotty.

Also I ran into some memory performance issues with the client. I'm running in windowed mode set for performance and its still pretty clunky. I've got OBS going, Stream Avatars, Ableton Live, whatever game, sometimes a second game window or a browser with 30 tabs. I'm sure it's to be expected but eventually my computer started locking up - but that's unique to Stream Avatars because I can usually run 2 other games without my system failing. It usually doesn't occur for a few hours though. Until then it's pretty smooth. But going through the menus right now, it's slow and unresponsive. Any tips appreciated.

I hope a lot more apps like this are made for a lot of different applications which is why I mentioned open source

A fun ghost hunting sim that's kind of similar to the board game Clue. Use tools to collect evidence to figure out what the ghost is and complete extra objectives for bonus money. You can spend your money on the necessary items and if you die you lose the items you bring in. You can play with up to 4 people and it has VR too, which is interesting after playing normally because it puts you right in the house. (Although the VR functions were still a bit clunky last time I tried it). It may not be as scary or graphic/gorey as other similar titles, but its simplicity and semi-realism makes it accessible to a large audience. There are some jump scares but most of the horror comes from the tenseness of the quiet, dark house as you investigate.

The community is fairly active, it's one of the more popular horror titles on PC. There's a handful of shady jerks but overall I'd give the community a solid B-. As long as you're contributing to the game most people are patient and nice.

My main grievances would be the amount of bugs and hackers that have been allowed to linger. For example there's several maps that have hiding spots which make you completely immune to ghost hunts. And these spots have existed for a while with no fix. Only 2 of these maps exist that I know of but it immediately makes the game breakable.

Another hack is that it's extremely easy to duplicate items in the game by picking up an item at the same time. It's not entirely useful unless you need sanity pills, but it's something that's been around and hasn't been fixed

Also the game data even for your character level is in local files so I think there's a way to edit things on your computer to give yourself a level boost or extra money. I'm not sure how it works but it's very common to find players who have thousands of levels and infinite cash. This drags down the overall integrity of the game and leveling system.

It's in alpha so hopefully most of these bugs will be worked out before the next Halloween season, but IMHO there's no excuse for level boosting and immunity hiding spots to stick around for so long! Game-breaking bugs should be first priority

However even with all its faults I can still highly recommend Phasmophobia! It's a great casual game that I've had a lot of fun on and hope they take the time to make the needed improvements!

If you're a fan of turn based strategy games like Civ or TCG's like Hearthstone or Magic, this is highly recommended. I read a lot of negative reviews about this game and had to leave a positive one. It's not perfect, especially if you're a huge fan of Catan you might see flaws. But it's got a lot of renditions of the rules including expansions, has a solid tutorial, and competitive online play with an ELO system. If you're newer to Catan and looking to up your skills, I'd say this is perfect for you. It's on Mobile, Steam, Browser, you can't ask for much more than that. Plus it's free. I spent the 5 dollars for the base game because I ended up spending a few hours a day over the course of a week playing. Matchmaking only takes a minute or two to get into a game. No complaints from me in about 10~ hrs of play.

My cousin just introduced me to Catan after years of wanting to try it and I wanted to practice to be able to beat him and maybe go out to a game night at a bar and play out with him. Not disappointed one bit.
