Definitely worth checking out!

Personally I like the combat in this more than the latest Smash Bro games. The movement in MultiVersus feels more fluid to me. I didn't like Smash Brawl or Ultimate because the movement felt a bit more stiff than in previous games, like if you move a direction you're more committed to it, where in this it lets you turn and punch a bit faster. The characters are not that hard to unlock, it's like Apex where it's free to login and you get points to unlock the characters, which it's faster to unlock everything than Apex.

The characters are awesome and I have a feeling they're gonna add a lot. I have a small fear they might add some ridiculous characters that almost don't make sense like a T-Rex or something from Jurassic Park. But that's kind of the name of the game.

One of the only cons I have so far is that the menu's and vibe seem to be aimed at a younger audience yet if you mark your age under 18 you are blocked from online play. Given there's no text chat in the game they could probably lower that restriction to 13 like most other games. I'm not under 18 so it's not a problem for me but a lot of young folks are gonna have to learn how to show hidden files in Windows to access the .sav file in AppData to reset their age.

The graphics aren't amazing, it's mainly just 2D animations, but the colors are nice and the animations are smooth. They suit the game play enough for it not to be bothersome.

Overall I think this game has the potential to be one of the most popular games over the next few years
