Finally finished up my 1st run. It was a great experience regarding other recent games quality which are pretty meh... I'll wait some time before trying the other paths.

I'm a fan of the serie, eated the 1st trilogy all along and played much Anomaly (with Gamma & customised other sets). It was a pleasure to re-explore old locations, meet again a bunch of known people and discover a whole new content with UE5 graphism. The ambient design is top notch and some situations really stressful, which add a lot in the game's immersion.

Here are somes pro :
- The exploration which is most of the time rewarding
- The giga anomalies are a pretty cool idea
- Variety of weapons and armors
- The story is really good (especially if you played the 1st trilogy, which is totally necessary if you want to understand the majority of the lore)
- The cutscenes are lovely and well worked

There is also some downsides tho, here are a few ones :
- The gunfight is still very clunky
- The AI can be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up really often (mutants & NPCs)
- The mutants have TOO much life (especially Chimeras & Pseudogiants)
- Some anomalies (like flashbang) are poorly designed and just annoying
- Game performance is unequal, there is a lot of FPS drops for no reason which lead to hard fights sometimes.

Although the game have a lot of bugs (rares are the gamebreaking ones, but they exist), I'd say it was a wonderful and breathtaking adventure which will stay in my memory for a long time.

I'm hoping for a lot of mods which will lead to an experience near Anomaly (A-Life, faction War, more weapons and armors, as for artifacts and many more!)

Thanks GSC for your devoted work, the game is pretty good, and I hope the patches will correct the few things that are annoying.

Cool OST, story, violence and retro vibes but that's all...

Clunky movements, randoms results on same patterns, doors are totally bugged, some masks are barely working, IA aggros are also randoms (sometimes IA is hearing shot, sometimes not at on the exact same situation), dogs are also a joke with way too much range one in two...

Tbh, old flash player stickman games are more playable than this.

Very bad for a die & retry. I hope that the pathfinding, hitbox and core mechanics are fixed in the 2nd opus!

Do not buy at full price!

Super bon jeu reprenant les mécaniques d'Assassin's Creed mais dans le monde du Seigneur des Anneaux!

Un scénario plutôt basique mais un grand défouloir où vous allez dépeçer de l'orc sans aucune pitié. ^^
