A mediocre FPS with slightly more sniping segments than other mediocre FPS games. Not alltogether terrible, but it's best to put it on mute so you have something to do with your hands while you listen to a podcast.

A fun little timewaster. The polish and presentation let you know very quickly this is a mobile port, but it's refreshing to see a game without in-app purchases. Maybe there were microtransactions in the iOS game, they easily could be implemented, but they're not here. It's short and simple. Now just to wait for MS to release Halo 3 on PC....

It's a full game without loot boxes or microtransactions. So already leagues better than EA's Battlefront games.

Haven't even been able to play this game or get a refund (my hours are from IdleMaster, may as well get something out of it) and now they pull this microtransaction BS. This is my most regretted Steam purchase.

Out of all the Thylacine in the world right now Ty is my favorite.

I've always loved mascot platformers but this one somehow slipped under my radar untl now. One of the few games I'm excited about getting 100% competion.

Why do I like this game? It's basically a Wolfenstein 3D mod so the gameplay is solid, although a bit too easy. It's got "ironic humor" going for it. And it has goats. Pretty much any game with goats is good in my book. Goats are good.

Where other games try to show you the horrors of war by having beefy men throw knives at each other, The Line offers a truely grittty and emotional story where the player character's morality and sanity is brought into question. With depictions of violence and unethical warfare towards civillians and rogue US soldiers, the story was enough to make me sick to my stomach more than once. But the story really is the draw here, as the controls are akin to the first Gears of War, and trying to perform simple actions like using cover can be difficult in the heat of battle. Gameplay isn't terrible, but as a self-proclaimed FPS buff I can say I would rather be playing Call from Yonder: Mundane Warmare 6 for gameplay's sake alone. Regardless, The Line is an excellent shooter in regards to story and can and should be used for any argument on wether or not a videogame can be considered art.
