This game pays homage to the original Resident Evil and other survival horror games of that era, but it also includes touches that help Crow Country differentiate from its influences and give the game its own character and charm.

The game is somewhat short but feels about right and never overstates its welcome. The park setting and layout is actually well thought out (not huge and not confusing, just big enough to provide exploration and includes well-designed shortcuts to tie everything together well). This game is definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of old-school survival and RE classic types of games.

Plantera 2 is an indie idler clicker game that focuses on building resources to grow your island/parcel. The game has an overall relaxing vibe and features colorful sprite work and a soothing soundtrack.

As you gain coins, you are able to buy new types of plants, trees, animals/helpers, etc. Earning money increases your level which in turn unlocks more resources and items so the game does a good job of having this constant loop of seeking rewards and improving your setup. Being an idler game means that you can return to the game later and reap the benefit of having helpers do the work for you and therefore gain coins and levels while you're away. The idling gains in terms of coins and level and very lenient providing an overall easy progression that goes well with the relaxing nature of the game. With that being said, the fastest way to make money and level up is to be active within the game as you can click on the screen to collect your crops as soon as they are ready and aid your helpers in the process.

Overall this is an easy and and enjoyable game. For the price of admission, it's worth checking it out if you are into idlers and clicker games. The first game in the series is supposed to be more of the same but with fewer features (haven't played it yet and probably won't since this game offers more).

Very short game but worth the very low price of admission (less than a dollar) if you want to experience SNES Donkey Kong Country vibes. The developer did a great job of recreating the "silicon" graphics and feel of the DKC games (including the soundtrack).

As far as the gameplay, this is a sidescrolling platformer with unique physics and very basic concept of jumping from platform to platform while progressing vertically instead of horizontally to reach the top of the level and collect honey pieces. The only control in this game is moving the character and jumping, you cannot defeat enemies as well as you can't die from getting hit nor you can "fall" in pits because you are saved by three fellow bees. All in all, the game is not very challenging in that regard although a time challenge opens up upon beating the game, providing a bit more of replay value.
This game also serves as a preview for the dev's next game, Super Kiwi 64.

Dadish 3 takes one step forward from the other two previous games by providing a bit more details and gameplay variety but overall takes two steps back due the inferior level design and setup. Gameplay felt slower than previous entries and to make matters worse, levels are on the longer side and are designed to be more challenging which, instead of introducing a challenging fun mechanic, ends up slowing gameplay down considerably. The best example is the last world which takes place underwater, making progression and level replay sluggish as heck.

Other than that, Dadish 3 features the same looks and approach from previous games with silly humor and an overall simple pick up to play platforming mechanic with one button jumps and double jumps.

Another con is that, this being the newer game of the 3, goes for a higher price point versus the (in my opinion) better prequels, so thread lightly if you want to get this game. Even at a sale price the game feels on the high side, but oh well.

Dadish 2 is a more ambitious game compared to the first game in terms of offering a bit details in the graphics and new gameplay features such as being able to ride a companion and gravity physics levels, etc. The overall challenge/difficulty of the game goes up a notch compared to the first game.

Overall, this is an enjoyable and fairly short indie platformer worth checking out if you are a fan of the genre and due to its low price point.

A good 'palate cleanser' type of indie platformer game that features basic (but precise) controls and a simple level design that only escalates in difficulty in a few levels towards the end of the game.

Dadish is a fairly simple platformer but does provide a good time and for the low price of admission (it can be bought for under a dollar when the game is on sale), you really can't go wrong with this game if you are into side-scrolling platforming games. The game takes inspiration from Mario games in terms of looks/feel but does feature a double jump mechanic which is fun to use in order to adjust jumps between platforms and obstacles.

This is one of the best Vampire Survivor clones out there and a must have if you enjoy this type of games considering its low price of admission. There are different characters/classes to choose from; gameplay is on the slower side but can become more enjoyable by changing the game speed. This game is also Deck verified which is pretty cool since it's a good portable game that can easily be picked up and play without too much thinking.

4.0 / 5.0

This is a challenging Metroidvania incorporating Souls-like elements both in gameplay (learning boss patterns, attack timing) and story development (abstract themes, worlds, and characters). There are Spanish culture and Christianism influences in the game.

The game is on the harder side but with enough patience, it can be conquered. There is a decent amount of backtracking especially if you are trying to get all the collectibles and quest items that reward the player with more skills.

Graphics are great for being an indie game, offering variety in terms of environments, backgrounds and even enemies and NPCs. Really enjoyed the theme of the game and the character/boss design, as well as the limited voice acting which was very well done and added a shroud of mystery to the characters.

4.0 / 5.0

This game pays homage to the classic Top Gear games of the SNES era with a locked-in-center type of driving gameplay. The main focus of this game is the World Tour mode where you collect points by finishing races in the podium and collecting blue coins along each track. The more points you have, the more stages you will unlock as well as locked cars.

This game features a ton of tracks and unlockable cars giving a good replay value and a solid bang for your buck considering it took me over 10 hours to complete the World Tour mode. Controls are very accurate and there is also free DLC as well as paid DLC including a package paying tribute to the greatest autosport driver of all time, Ayrton Senna.

It took a few tries for me to get into Celeste but my third time was the charm and I'm glad I stuck around. Celeste is truly one of the best modern side-scrolling platforming games out there due to its addicting yet punishing level and overall setup. Controls are very precise and easy to learn but the gameplay and the way levels are prepared will test every single ounce of platforming skills and experience you have. Thankfully this game features a screen by screen checkpoint system similar to Super Meat Boy that encourages quick repetition and helps reduce (somewhat) the frustration of dying over and over. It is precisely this "try again" mechanic that will keep you hooked to the game and keep you coming back for more.

To boot, soundtrack is very good, the story is simple and doesn't get much in the way of interrupting and taking away time from the game, and the replay value is high due to post-game content and unlockables/collectables that you will have to go back for.
