I'll get the negatives out of the way because they are so few and so situational that they do not deserve much attention:

1. Act 3 feels a bit rushed.
2. It is easy to miss critical parts of stories/areas if you're not actively looking for them.
3. Some armor does glitch around a lot and you'll find your character completely bald and helmetless at times.

In my playthrough, I missed what could be seen as integral parts of specific areas that I had no idea I could even explore. That is not a fault of the game and more so of mine for being too dumb to realize that the game is smarter than I give it credit. But that is where I draw the line with my negatives.

Everything else about this game screams passion and love for storytelling. The combat is easy to get into and far easier to cheese, and it remains fun even still. You can fulfil whatever power fantasy you desire - be it an assassin hiding in the shadows, or a drunk rage filled dwarf going ham with nothing but your fists. The gameplay, the intuitiveness of it; being able to truly do whatever you want to do; the devs thought of everything. But put all of that aside, and the main attraction of this game shows itself - the story. I cried at the culmination of Astarion's story in my playthrough - I was scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of Orin, I felt for Ketheric and his desperation, Gortash resonated with me as I was playing a character with similar traits to him, all the while my party members kept adding flair and opinions to matters I had no idea I wanted any part in the discussion of. My story ended in a happy way, and the only gripe I have hence is that it ended at all.

This game is a masterpiece. Well done, Larian.

Don't do this to yourself.

I tried to like this game, I really did.

They strayed so far from the Battlefield formula, this was bound to flop. Everyone wants to be Warzone or Fortnite, all the while completely forgetting what made their game special. There isn't even proper destruction ffs, Battlefield 4 had better.

Do yourself a favor and play BFV or BF4 or BF1 instead. This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and will die in obscurity as a stain worse than Hardline, and DICE will drop support within the next year.

I don't have the game but it's letting me write a review so it's basically trolling me which I don't support so please don't buy the game, they lied to me.

Its most definitely a great game, but the worst and only bad thing about it is the starting experience. Mark my words, this game will turn you into the worst version of yourself due to its sheer toxicity and learning curve. Once you've overcome that phase, the game becomes increasingly fun and pleasant to spend hours upon hours on.

Just don't play Shields, please.
