Excellent game involving speedy parkour, Far Cry type elements - have your buddy wear what you would be wearing to see what you would look like lol and vice versa, guns and tons of melee weapons - crafting is fun and well done, and its a blast with friends when you can just join in game anytime. Got it on sale and looking forward to the 2nd game. Im glad they poured their heart and soul into this game, because I really enjoyed it and still do.

This is a really awesome 2015 era upgrade from SWB 1 an 2 on the PS2 and is just as much fun maybe, but definitely the gameplay and action is engaging, explosive, reasonable, along with excellent maneuvers by the AI, and vehicles to drive as usual. However, the graphics is what blows this game out of the woodwork as it has superb graphics quality all around making it a seamless experience on 1080p easily with my MSI RX580, 4Gb: Armor OC. Comparable nearly to FC5 that released in 2018.

ITs a multiplayer game that offers Third person and First person views all the way down to iron sights -something I find appalling in CS:GO, multiple types of games within the game, from car races to aeroplane acrobatics to Jetskis jumping waves, and the endless types of missions available. This game has everything that most games out there only have a few pieces of. Playing with friends is a necessary need and is the most fun. However modders frequent the servers as do spam bots, and your average run of the mill hackers. But its guaranteed in most games these days isnt it?

At first - for awhile it was nonsensical to me, even though so many friends were playing it, I still thought it would be boring and not what I would be slightly interested in. I finally got the damn thing several months ago and still found it to be not to my liking, but I had yet to find out its true purpose and capability. Maybe that was the ghost I was trying to see thru the damn smoke of GMod. My problem has been internet bandwidth, so a consistent connection is a constant issue at times, and with all the mods required for servers, its evident that this would damper my fun. But once I finally got everything done and downloaded and tried a few optional servers I have come to find that fun can be had here and its awesome as hell! Find the right server for you and the mods you need or want, and it can be glorious fun - Just make sure you play with friends for the best experience!

This game is alot of fun and if you play with humans and with teamwork. Rushers that fly ahead are a negative ass joke of a game scenario to play with. NPCs are also a joke; its more fun with humans. The multiple realistic additions really make this game unique compared to thousands of other games like it or in the FPS realm of multiplayer. Dealing with being slower in water - cant run, able to slice off heads with sharp Katana sword, blowing up zombies into a pile of gore like its Doom, or setting fire to a witch to kill her easier makes this awesome to play! Tell me you can blow bodies to bits or chop arms and legs off in Far Cry - its never happened and probably wont, just like blood never sticks around either. You might as well be shooting air at straw dummies in Ubisofts games and it makes the game unrealistic and ♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you want to see something happen like it should with all do realism then this game is a winner. Reviving teamates, passing health, and helping them kill an annoying jockey or hunter or smoker is exciting and worth it, just make sure theres no npc around to steal the kill from you, just like they can when you try to get an achievement!

If Bone Tomahawk could be a game, this is the closest graphic comparison out there. Maybe both stole from each other or had the same minds behind the scenes, but one side they came out in a tie was....well EVERYTHING. Story, mystery, horror, gore, violence, characters, fearsome enemies - that pound the ground like giants or scream and roar out spine melting sounds, and unique objects that each have a certain way you can use them for your benefit or skill. You just want to slaughter those hideous annoying cannibal leatherfaces whenever their ugly mugs show up. Spearing the chieftains thru the balls as a killshot is awesome too. Just wish we could craft a canoe, been waiting for games to offer that simple classic native boat for decades. Anyways, superb fun with friends and funny circumstances bound to happen!

Even if I hadnt already had The Forest since 2013 or so - I would buy it. Its worth its selling price. Seriously they sell this game for a lower price than most and its only 2 years since release, yet AoE2: HD is STILL selling at an outrageous price of the same $19.99 and it was a simple repackage! I'd imagine if Microsoft was the seller of The Forest, it would be $30 or more...AoE2: HD should be selling for $7 or less than $13. You can see now why they re-re-packaged AoE2 YET AGAIN along with all the other titles. Simple re-skin and sell it for double the profit to all the new generations of kids that are growing up with electronics of all kinds from 4 years of age and also reselling to all of us who are nostalgic about old games from our childhood days.

I have come back once more to redo my previous hater review. This game is still fun but stay away from Casual if you dont want to end up in a bot match where bots are still snipers and now there are heavy's with 'Tomislavs who are ALL friends on both sides; so neither will attack each other - only humans. Stick to MVM or Mann Up or play in community servers OR have fun slaughtering the bots in Casual! Which I have found ways to enjoy killing them and its possible even with my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ internet intermittent connection! Now thats something to be proud of and gives one joy - nothing like blowing up 3 or more bots in a row in casual! Except when there is that one human who thinks that casual should be played like a community server map and holds the intel like a ♥♥♥♥...unless there is mutual agreement between both sides to help a player with a contract, THAT is understandable and of course Im fine with that.

Want something different from L4D and Dying Light thats slower paced? Then look no further than this freebie thats only gotten better over the recent years.

Co-op with a good team of friends or players to get the best experience.

Only cons are the good servers that used to be, are no longer or have gotten restricted to the point of no voting allowed among other modifications from the original game parameters.
