Trying it for the free Weekend, spent about 40 minutes making some zones, crashed as soon as I put down a dump. Ran perfectly right before that though. Can't say I recommend this game at this moment until the performance is improved even more. Pretty wild they decided to do a free weekend when having common crash issues.

Also what happened to the licensed music? Now it's just generic atmosphere music

At the moment, the game looks great. Probably one of the best looking games so far FromSoft has released, combat is fluid and the new changes to adapt to the open world fits right in. That said, this game is having issues with microstutters and some major lag spikes, especially during boss fights which you find a lot of early on right as you start the game.

This game is fun, even with the lag issues, but becomes unnecessarily frustrating during boss fights due to these issues.
You know a game is good when you're enjoying it even with the issues but right now it's best played when these lag issues are finally resolved. It seems like it's not just a pc issue as well as consoles are also having frame rate issues and having issues just hitting 60fps. Shouldn't be more extensive graphically than a game like Cyberpunk. While I recommend it so far, wait until the lag and stutter issues are resolved or else boss fights just feel like you're being cheated on.

Over 100 hours in, I finally beat the game with it's true ending. This is my first Persona game, first Atlus game and it's easily one of my favorite games of all time. While the age does show in 2022, the storytelling and gameplay is still great, even with Persona 5 Royal currently out.

The characters and strategic planning on what to do with your limited time in days really make this game great. The cast start off small but become special the more hours you pour into it and makes the ending that much more hard hitting. There are very few characters that feel boring, easily out-shined by the majority that are much more interesting. A game about truth, investigations, murders and solving it with people you just met who become incredible allies and friends. This game can easily change your mindset on how to go about your own personal friendships. To make you take a step back and realize just how special your friends are to you even if you didn't notice or are too shy to admit it.

The music is the top highlight of the game as well. Hands down this game has one of the most addicting OSTs of all time. Banger after banger and if you mod the game with a certain improvement mod, you get bangers from some spinoffs that will play during battles.

P3P and P5R are on their way with Persona 5 Royal coming out first, another game with a banger OST. PC has been blessed to finally have Persona make its way onto it, be so fluid with modding and making small improvements to make the games even better. Persona 5 Royal will no doubt have a great mod pack for improvements as well. Atlus made the best decision for its company to not only move these games to other consoles like Xbox and the Switch, but bringing it to PC where the modding community is incredible. Console exclusives should be a thing in the past, let everyone play your game.

Compared to 2, the game is a lot less appealing. Full of bugs, boring characters and dialogue. The charm that BL2 had shows up only in few instances here. This game is also full of bugs. So many bugs that cause you to get stuck in a mission because it can't progress. It's been months since this game was launched and the bugs are plenty still but instead of working out the bugs, they continue to do dumb events that end up introducing other bugs to the game.

The only work around bugged missions is saving and quitting and resuming after. As of right now, the game is a mess and far from recommend it. The only positives are the improved graphics of the game, more open skill trees and the shooting but the guns themselves feel limited and kinda boring at times.

Not much to say other than it looks way better but

-Optimized for microwaves rather than PC

-can't ever get over 45fps during matches

-mycareer is a mess with bad glitches and bugs, writing and constantly put in a tag team match or promo

-music is very meh, can't even listen to the full entrance music of the wrestlers, its like only a minute long sample when playing their music on menus.

-extremely difficult to get items you want to use because you need to find them in a lootbox and if lucky enough to find them, you still need to pay for them all in vc

Moving on from 2k17, other than graphics, this is pretty much disappointing. The graphics look amazing but doesn't mean crap if it isnt optimized and Mycareer is full of bugs from opponents constantly changing (ex im in a fued with aj styles but some times they will say Kevin Owens said something bad about me instead of AJ) to the boring backstage parts and constantly needing to talk to someone to start a match and to leave the same arena to the insane Royal Rumble storyline where you can get eliminated if someone even sneezes on you. Hoping they patch things up but 2k seems to like to focus more on NBA rather than fixing their WWE titles. The fact this was released this buggy proves it. At least they didn't ♥♥♥♥ us over with microtransactions.

Until they fix major problems with optimization and mycareer im giving this a no.

This is the Hitman we needed after Blood Money, not Absolution.
I was worried about this game at first due to it being episodic but with 4 episodes out now, I can safely say this is one of the, if not THE, best games in the Hitman series.
It's improved so much gameplay wise and graphically, very similar to Blood Money with some gameplay elements and improvements from Absolution.

Pros:

-Wide open maps consisting of hundreds of NPCs and filled with creative areas to sneak around

-multiple paths in these maps

-multiple ways to kill a target, including kills that make it seem like accidents

-AI is improved

-Stealth is back where Absolution had lost it for action style gameplay

-The UI is extremely clean and nice to look at. Many options to customize the UI as well.

-The game is absolutely gorgeous

-high replayability and updated content on the regular.

-This game will have more episodes after the first season. A second season and a third season are planned for this game. Hopefully more afterwards but that means for 60 dollars, you're buying a massive game. 2-3 games in one.

-Save anytime system

Cons:
-The PC version needs more optimization, massive amounts of npc or even trees will dip your fps below 30 at times, even at lowered settings with a beastly setup

-If you plan on buying the game one mission at a time, you will be missing out on exclusive content even though you will be technically be paying more than 60 dollars after season one is done. BUY THE FULL GAME, IT'S WORTH IT.

-Always Online, you will be kicked from the game if you lose connection to servers.

-Unable to customize weapons

-Few times dialogue will cut out for a moment (a bug that hasn't been completely fixed yet.)

Overall, this game is absolutely wonderful. With more optimization to the PC version I can see this game getting a massive amount of positive reivews more so than it is now. Don't let the "mixed" overall label fool you, maybe of that comes from early on when the game only had one mission out.
If you can buy the full game and deal with an unoptimizaed game for the time being, this is definitely worth getting especially if you love the Hitman series. If this game continues to rack up positive reviews and sell well, we can probably expect even more seasons for this game. The game looks great enough for them to build on for years.

If you loved Blood Money, stealth and planning your way of assassinating your target(s), this is the game for you.

Note: This game DOES take place after Absolution. It's not a reboot or a prequel. Only the beginning training missions (2 of them) are a prequel to the story, everything afterwards takes place after Absolution's storyline.

Updated Review 8/12/17 -

So after a year, No Man's Sky is still trying to be the game it promised to be and the Dev team are doing work to try to get it there with each update. Before I bashed this game, and rightly so. It was a bare bones game with hardly much to go into it during launch. Since then we have had 3 major updates, all free and added tons of new features and content to the game. While there's still plenty to do, Hello Games is on the right track on making this game what was promised.

NMS since launch should have been a 20-30 dollars early access game. That would've gotten it less hostility than it did with also understanding that this game is still being worked on. While they didn't do that, the Dev team hasn't given up on it and ran with the money they made which is good.

I recommend this game if you want an arcade style exploration/survival game. Though currently I still can't justify spending 60 dollars on it but it's a game that is worth 30 dollars for sure. There's a lot of charm to this game if you see past the hate it got during launch, it just needs even more of that charm to go into it.

Since launch, the game has not only added tons of new content, but also updated textures and lighting, more creatures, planets, aliens, ships and now a story to the game. Multiplayer is available in the very bare way, of just seeing another player around you (represented by an orb that you can only talk to and not interact with any other way) but this is leading to the right steps of a proper multiplayer/co-op system. This game had a huge bumpy road since launch and blew up in the air like the Challenger space shuttle, but after a year since launch, we found this game is still surviving and getting better. While I'm still upset we didn't get the game and content we were promised a year ago, I appreciate the devs didn't run off with out money and instead continue to bust their tails on this game for free updates.

Genre: FPS/Crime
8/10

Story/Gameplay: Not much of a story in the Payday universe. You're part of a crew of robbers who are hired by contractors to pull of heists for money. The heists differ in difficulty and how long they can go on for. Some heists can be done in a matter of a few minutes to getting close to 40 minutes. All depending if things go well of course, which they most likely won't. If you're a beginner to Payday, play with some experienced friends. Not only will they teach you the best combinations of weapons and what to do during heists, but also leveling up and gaining money will be a lot easier.

Visuals: Payday 2 is a huge step above from Payday: The Heist. The visuals are much more moderned and detailed. Masks look great, weapons look great and each have their own reload animations, maps look great. Hell even the gloves on your hands look great. GEM mod enhancement for Payday 2 gives some more detail to the game all while removing some annoying features that may give you a slight headache from the base game. Using the mod is allowed by Overkill and you won't be banned from the Payday 2 community group.

Sounds / Voice Acting: Not much to say besides the game sounds absolutely amazing. Each weapon has their own sounds and the quality is fantastic. Sounds of gunfire differ incredibly from being indoors or outside or even far from where a gunfight is going on. Voice acting is also great, nothing sounds awkward and each character has different lines to give them their own unique personality.

For 30 dollars, this is definitely a great game to buy. When it's on sale down to 10 dollars or so, it's a MUST BUY. There are some DLC that add weapons and new heists to the game along with new masks. It's all on you if you want to buy them or not. Don't worry though, you can still play these heists! Overkill is pretty great that they allowed it so even if you do not have these dlc heists, you can still play with friends who are hosting the new heists. You may not unlock masks and weapons from certain dlc achievements but it's still a great way to test out the new maps before buying.

Crimefest is currently going on, meaning if you join the Payday 2 group, you help everyone else apart of the group to score free dlc! We currently have enough people to unlock a brand new major DLC and new character (Old Hoxton from Payday:The Heist) for free for everyone who is apart of the Payday 2 group. So even if you don't have the game, join the group if you want to help your friends gain free dlc!
