The game is fantastic and follows the formula of older games just great. Negative reviews come from people crying about "Muhhh Joystiiiiick not supported".

Fun game that SF should've been with V. I bought it twice both on PS4 and Steam releases, totally been worth it. Fluid controls and gameplay make it a really enjoyable 2d fighting game. It oozes with style, and the visuals are just so vibrant and juicy that your eye will never get bored. Not to mention the very 90s fighting game style music. I really hope that there will be more players to this because it deserves it.

Strong swole girl as a protagonist, touching story, amazing soundtrack (especially the Memorial song, holy cow), great combat for its genre. This satisfied my Metroidvania needs, and I think this is a potential classic. Amazing experience overall.

I'll say right off the bat that this game has insane atmosphere and detalization. From what I can tell, the horror of this game is not about the jumpscares. It's about psychology. This game tells you the story about people's scars through masterful surrealistic visuals and amazing dialogues which brought to my mind some famous movie directors known for their artistic vision that is quite uneasy for the general public. Not to mention that you're playing as a Rutger Hauer himself, which is pretty symbolic for me as a Blade Runner fan who enjoyed his performance as Roy Batty. Sounds and music of this game match the overwhelming tone of a dystopian world just wonderfully. But if you're not a fan of slow paced games, observer might not be for you.

The only reason I'm writing this review is because the amount of negative ones (and their reasoning) is ridiculous. Yes, the fact that microtransactions exist in this game is lame, but it never forces you to purchase them. And you don't have to. We can only hope that SE and Eidos will learn their lesson. I must say that it borrows many things from the original Deus Ex (2000), after Human Revolution the series are finally going in the right direction. When you'll first enter the TF29 office (which is ran by.. guess who? Manderley!), when you hear the Hong Kong music from the original Deus Ex, when you see young Bob Page - all these little things just make you drown in nostalgia. The world design is amazing, it's noticeable that artists had a lot of fun this time to make it feel alive, to immerse the player. Many people say that the game is unoptimized and I am shocked that I am able to run this game on Ultras with no fps drops (mind you, I don't have 1080 GTX). Am I just lucky?
Gameplay wise it feels like a much better version of Human Revolution. Same thing about the artistic choices. I am glad they got rid of the yellow filter and decided to fill this game with more classic cyberpunk color moods, sometimes it once again feels like an original DE with updated graphics. Overall the game feels like an improvement compared to the Human Revolution, because it finally starts to emulate a prequel to Deus Ex that we all love.
