14 years ago, Raging Blast 2 was the last real Budokai Tenkaichi-styled game, albeit a bit dumbed down. 14 long years passed without getting another good arena fighter... until now.

Sparking! ZERO really is the game of my dreams, and probably many others, it's a modern Budokai Tenkaichi in the best way possible, huge roster, huge arenas, and nigh-limitless possibilities. Did I mention it's really, REALLY fun?

Whether you're just mashing buttons in VS. Battles, playing through the Episodes, or even just perusing the menus, this game just looks gorgeous and has so much personality that's missing in so many games today, it genuinely feels like a blast from the past.

This is easily my Game of the Year and my favorite Dragon Ball game on top of that. If you love Dragon Ball, and want a game you can just turn your brain off and have a blast, Sparking! ZERO is perfect for you. HOWEVER, the game offers incredible depth as well if that is more your style!

Update: this game has had such a facelift that it's gone from "it's okay" to contending with Iceborne with how good it is.

I can't recommend MH Rise Sunbreak enough.

Best shooter I've played since Titanfall 2, not even done with it.

Edit: Beat the game now, mastered all the weapons sans rocket launcher, and this really is probably the best game I've played in legitimate years, my current GOTY as well.

Edit 2: Playing through the game on Nightmare on another save was something I regret not doing in my first save, Nightmare is difficult enough to screw you if you even just lose focus for a second. Honestly? It's the best way to play DOOM Eternal, not everyone would agree with me in that regard, but it made me appreciate this game more and solidify it as one of my top 5 games of all time.

(P.S. Marauder and Ammo are invalid complaints if you just learn how to properly handle both, basically I'm unironically saying get good.)

I just like going into practice and labbing as of recent, to be honest, but since we're in Season 3 and this is one of my favorite games, I guess I'm due for a review.
The visuals in this game are INCREDIBLE, personally I think this is gonna be the pinnacle DB game visually and ArcSys Work's magnum opus for a while (personally I like it more than GBF and GGS).
3v3 Tag Vs. styled gameplay is always a welcome.
Matches with friends are a blast, playing online matchmaking is a mixed bag because of netcode, I'll touch on that later.
The gameplay itself in the game is also fun, a much needed change in DB games, having an actual high level fighter is phenomenal.
The changes added in Season 3 really improved the game for the better, it's much more fresh now.
Incredibly fun to lab in this game, and finding ToD's is satisfying.
Mods are fun too, sucks that you can't play online unless someone else has mods enabled too.
Only downside is online is can be bad, netcode really isn't that great, bad even at some points.
Best DB game? Arguably.
My favorite DB game? Absolutely.
Cooler and DBS Broly are also in this game so automatic 10/10.

Black Prior is balanced because he cannot do anything out of dodge.

EDIT: Black Prior has dodge attacks now they need to nuke him NOW.
