I've been playing MMORPGs for years. I've played just about everything and this game is something exceptional. A mixture of a time capsule and a team of devs who listen to their playerbase and are in the business of providing a fun experience for their players. Recently they released two legendary servers which are very akin to WoW's Season of Discovery, but not only did they do that but they also upgraded the server technology for the new servers. Seeing improvements in a nearly 20 year old game is not something I expected after playing for just two weeks now. I may have just hopped on board the hype train at the right time but in the current state LOTRO is one of the most enjoyable MMORPG experiences out right now. If you've never played do yourself a favor and give it a shot because there's a ton to explore in middle earth.

Honestly better than Dark and Darker. Yes Dark and Darker came first and inspired the genre, however; Dungeonborne stands tall on it's own, with honestly better PVP, more interesting classes and better balancing. If they continue supporting it Dungeonborne will easily overtake Dark and Darker.

Maybe the only game that does PvPvE correctly? PVE enchances PVP and PVP enhances PVE of this game, great concept and tons of fun.

This is the game every other survival craft game wants to be.

It's a terribly great time

This game is actually too hard to enjoy, unless you have the patience of a saint, or enjoy spamming Lb instead of actually timing, it's a nightmare of a game, too many punishments and not enough fun, the mobility of the character is so clunky trying to tackle the verticality that they envisioned here. Idk how I could recommend this, linear samurai too hard version of dark souls with little sense of progression and overwhelmingly punishing enemies.

It's fun but the matchmaking so god awful, I joined 5 empty servers and gave up.
