Not sure what all to say, I hated and loved it at the same time. Amazing (ly depressing) story and scenes. Everyone should play this at least once.

The story continues! Improved combat feel, richer art design, more combat tools and options, blessings feel better balanced, and the dialog/story remains true to form. Put over 400 hours into Hades and completed every achievement, have no doubt I'll do the same in Hades 2.

Excellent remake/port showing all the other subpar ports out there how it's done. Having never played or really heard about Live A Live I went in blind and I'm better off for it. The only suggestion I might make is looking up which chapters to start with as some of the chapters can be more story heavy and may not be the best introduction.

The performance is stellar even on potato laptop hardware, the sprite art is amazing, and the 2d/3d effects have really been mastered looking at Octopath 2 and Live a Live.

Highly recommended for any JRPG fans or newbies alike.

As an admitted Rick and Morty fan who played Trover on PSVR and was disappointed, High on Life is the redemption for Squanch and Roiland IMO.

The humor was good, and didn't push too hard like Trover, and the FPS elements are top notch. It's got a bit of the new Doom style of fast movement with lots of unique weapons, which combines with the humor to make a great game that's worth the cost of entry.

I was also impressed with how well they told the story as well. The characters are three-dimensional and show development and change which is nice to see in a FPS. Looks like Roiland is learning the Story Circle!

If you like complex city builders and also love rogue-like gradual improvements and learning, Against the Storm is the right game for you.

The city building is great and has some very complex resource balancing, but it's very approachable and there's multiple ways to produce all the resources your growing settlement needs. Starting over with each new city and changing map variables provides a different experience and progression with every map, while the long term upgrades provide game changing improvements that help you advance quicker with each new settlement.

Even in Early Access there's plenty of content and a better game than most "complete" city builders out there.

Update - Been playing since Early Access and the game has improved drastically. The 1.0 release is right around the corner!

After waiting for some updates I'm now jumping back into Loop Hero after ~70 hours of playtime. Not sure what else I can say other than that... buy it!

Rhythm Doctor is one of those strange, out-of-nowhere gems that smacks you across the face and makes you re-evaluate what the genre is. There's rhythm (of course!), engaging story lines, music that hits, challenging game play and a dub-step samurai.

If you even slightly like music or fun games you should pick up Rhythm Doctor. There's already an extensive amount of content, and with user generated levels the space bar slapping will never end. Can't say much more other than to make sure you calibrate and maybe use a controller for a steadier response if you're spacebar isn't super accurate, as that may prevent some frustration.

I've always had a special place in my heart for good Rogue-likes, but over the past few years they've become so commonplace it's challenging to find one doing something new and different. I watched Giant Bomb play Noita on one of their Unprofessional Fridays and was very intrigued just by the particle interactions and knew I had to give it a try.

I bought Noita last week, and I haven't been able to put it down. The amount of depth the world and random generation creates is insane. It brings me back to the days of From Software where while you feel like you're learning a ton and playing better, but each area makes you realize you've only scratched the surface. The world is very well structured and includes tons different biomes and areas, but the random nature of those areas is what really brings the magic.

In addition to the world, the magic system and it's randomness makes combat very interesting. It's basically your usually click to shoot, but you have the ability to mix and match each spell that goes into your wands. The spells have interactions and stats, and the wands have their own stats, so every run you'll end up making something crazy destructive and fun.

The controls are tight, and when you die (and you will... a lot) it doesn't feel like the game didn't respond, I know I screwed up when I run out of flight juice, and fall right into that pool of lava. That being said, due to the random generation, there are times you'll die due to some of the most insane circumstances that are out of your control. But even then, if you take your time and understand the environments, you'll be able to protect yourself from the craziness and have fun even on the worst runs.

At 21 hours into the game, I've made it to the boss once and didn't even get close to beating him, but I've had a blast dying hundreds of times along the way and I can't wait to venture back into the caves whenever I have some free time.

I don't write many reviews considering the amount of games I own, so when I write one it's either a really good or really bad game.... in this case it's an amazing game and I want everyone to give it a try!

If you have fond memories of Privateer or Flreelancer, then Starpoint Gemini 2 is for you. If not, but you like traveling the universe, trading and selling (and smuggling) goods, blasting space pirates trying to steal your booty, or even mining asteroids on your downtime; then SG2 is also for you!

Controls can be interesting (a bit wonky) at times, and I read there may be some joystick issues, but mouse and keyboard are my choice anyway so I've had no issues. Presentation and graphics look great, and there are some truly amazing views around the galaxy. Combat is fun and ship styles range from giant transports, to carriers with multiple fighter wings. I've got 20+ hours in at this point and while I started the campagin, I'm having more fun just roaming around, trading and upgrading my ship.

If you've been looking for a game to scratch the space sim itch, this is a good game for it.
