being one of the only hockey games on steam, it's disappointing that this game has fallen to the fate of microtransactions and endless toxicity in the playerbase. I'd avoid this one, and not reward the devs for their monetization model.

paradox, your business model is actually cancerous. this game is FINE, but it's not worth nearly as much as its listed price & DLC combined.

visually stunning game with satisfying combat, however, the overall experience is underwhelming.

the game feels empty with the lack of multiplayer interaction within the singleplayer world. there's a lot of aimless exploration with not a lot to do, or a drive of where to go. there's a lot of blatant reuse of the same bosses, items, and enemies over and over (many of which are broken or poorly designed).

with the lack of invasions, the game has essentially become a PVE singleplayer/coop experience, which detracts from what made the Dark Souls series so enjoyable.

all in all, Elden Ring fails to live up to its potential. it lacks the depth and richness of its predecessors, making it feel like a hollow shell of what it could have been. the visuals are stunning, but the experience is ultimately disappointing.

very handy to have on my steam library without having to worry about license issues.

the only problem is that Vegas 18 suffers the same issues as every previous version and will crash without reason.

the game is currently has a major flaw with the randomness, where no matter how well you plan your railway you will fail.

specifically, the problem is the game's habit to have too many of the same type of station appear near each other and not allowing for any gameplay opportunities; clogging your entire station and resulting in failure on no fault of your own.

the devs should do something to fix this, since this is a very relaxing and enjoyable game otherwise.

SWTOR is a good MMO RPG, but only if you come into it with a clear mind and don't expect too much from it.

the main things you need to have in your mind before approaching this game are:
1. this game is NOT free to play; it is pay to play for all intents and purposes. GET A SUBSCRIPTION.
2. this is not a KOTOR-like experience

a subscription is absolutely necessary to be able to fully enjoy this game without major handicaps that are designed just to waste your time. instead, don't waste your time and just get a subscription or don't play at all.

if you are a KOTOR fan, you may or may not like this game. gameplay-wise, it isn't remotely like KOTOR. in terms of the many storylines, it goes in a direction that opposes a lot of what the KOTOR games were trying to establish. it's best to pretend this is its own universe that is loosely based around KOTOR but not directly connected.

also this game is 50 times more fun when played along with friends; playing alone isn't nearly as fun. get a group together whenever possible and just have a good time.

oh, and last thing: this game will try to take as much money from you as possible. always double read text before you accept spending credits or coins!!!! keep your wits about you because the devs are ruthless when it comes to trying to make you spend as much money as possible.
