I can't say anything that hasn't already been said.

This is a mixed bag of a game, it has fun/easy building as well as wiring mechanics but also doesn't very much develop itself in the physics side of the game (aerodynamics/flying, impact damage, etc).

And this game has a survival mode, which I must say is fun for the first runthrough to the warehouse, then it just loses its glimmer.

Unturned is flawed as f***. Full of squeakers and toxic players, hard to find a good soul on the game to be honest. But the community that stands is dedicated, from modders to roleplayers to pvp enthusiasts. But through all the crap the game stands on it's own on it's execution, it's dumb fun and a good way to blow some time if you have a lot.

Unturned is a poorly optimized, poorly developed game. It's impossible to play singleplayer w/o getting bored and the AI in the game are to predictable to pose a challenge, even in numbers the AI can't take a beat on an experienced player.

All that Unturned is good for is it's wack pvp, it's dumb fun and fast paced when you choose the right server. And the MODs that this game has won't leave you yearning for content (AKA: Guns to f' people up with)


I feel like I shouldn't recommend this game but it's brought me a lot of dumb fun and think you should at least give it a chance.

Squad is a great game for MilSim enthusiasts and players who enjoy games like ARMA 3 but without the tedious resource/kit management. Also to clear up possible misconceptions, this is not a Military RP game, it's a straight into the fight kind of game, the only person you'll be responding to is your squad leader (or not if you become your own.) It succeeds in it's amazing infantry combat and if commanded/organized correctly can become more. The mechanized side of Squad does seem like an afterthought but through it all the game mechanics for the vehicles is such a way as to not completely slow down the pace with realism. (EX: Ramming a truck into a wall at 80 K/PH and no damage is done.

Some tips I wish I knew before I started playing you may wanna know:
- DO THE TUTORIALS, don't go at it w/o knowing what you're doing or you'll most likely lose interest.
- Watch a f*** ton of videos on squad leading before you even try to be a leader, a good leader leads to a great game.
- Learn your strengths in the training section, you may be better at grenadier if you can judge distances or a medic for that awareness.
