We breathe the very substance that causes fire. The first advancements we ever made were to make it easier to kill things.We drink, smoke, and consume highly toxic material because we "get bored." We fight each other to death over petty squabbles as small as the loss of one ship. We built our way to space travel on a road of failures and burning, broken ships, screaming in desperation the entire way, all because we wanted to beat OURSELVES to space travel. We have legends that an Avatar of God came down from heaven to save us. According to the legends, we let him talk for a few years then nailed him to a stick.
