5e players, listen up! This is a very well-done recreation of the 5e system in a virtual setting. However, since it is virtual, there are more limitations. You will notice certain spells missing (Dispel Magic), a butt load of jumping, and interesting uses of spells as "de facto" reaction spells (such as guidance).

Overall, the story is great, the gameplay is exactly what I wanted, and the faults are few and far between. In my ~130 hours of gameplay, I have encountered one bug that did not change the outcome of any events, so I was able to continue playing.

9/10. It will be 10/10 if they add a Dungeon Master's toolkit so people can make their own campaigns.

Great price for what you get, well made, fun gameplay loop that overwhelms you at some point no matter what, lots of unlockable content including new items and characters, and the dev is consistently updating the game, too. What more could you ask for?

Noita is a game of legendary caliber. I refer to it as "a programmer's worst nightmare".

Noita is a 2D platforms, with (basically) fully destructible terrain. There are different materials, which have different levels of hardness. There are many liquid elements, such as lava, water, ice, acid, toxic slime, oil, blood, fire - each of which interact like they would in our universe.

But Noita is a world of Magic and creativity. The wand system allows you to take the abilities of a wand, rearrange them, repurpose them, and make wands that exceed your expectations - sometimes putting yourself in grave danger just by experimenting.

Noita is a game based around creativity and surprise. There is an immeasurable amount of secrets and oddities in this game, which makes it so much more fascinating.

And to top it off, it's a cheap indie game.

9.5/10. Only qualm is that I kill myself too often. Fortunately, I generally laugh, rather than be angry.

Only get this game if you love to watch your characters die all the time. It is unforgiving and you will get set back over and over again. Difficulty only gets harder and harder. You will get dealt a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hand; maybe you don't have enough money to feed your crew, or perhaps your crew is made up of 4 vestals that don't deal damage in any configuration. It's a good game, but I would hardly say its well-balanced.
