Great game if you're into souls-likes. If you enjoyed games like Bloodborne especially, you'll enjoy this game. It may actually be one of my favorite souls-likes yet.

It's everything I've ever wanted in a 3D platformer! The amazing platforming, the amazing level design (Loved the Murder on the Owl Express, that was absolutely brilliant, and the I could see the reference to a murder of crows. Very clever.), the quirky and likable characters, (The mafia guys and the Snatcher immediately come to mind as awesome supporting characters.) the clever humor, the awesome abilities you learn throughout the game (The scooter is amazing and adorable!), incredible soundtrack, and on top of all that, it's cute as heck! This is the 3D platformer I've been waiting for! For years I've been waiting for a game to revive that lost genre of N64 style 3D platformer. A Hat in Time is the game I've been waiting for, the chosen one! Absolutely incredible game! The only complaints I really have about this game are a few technical issues that pop up from time to time, and the camera can get slightly annoying at certain points, plus I wish there was a way to look at your surroundings in first or second person, like you could in games like Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie, but these flaws don't ruin the experience for me at all. I enjoyed every second of my time with this game, and it does so many things right! The developers of this game clearly gave this game a lot of care and polish, and it definitely shows. I cannot wait to see more of A Hat in Time! This game definitely deserves more attention than it's getting!
