Extremely disappointing after last year's Resi 2 remake. I wasted my money buying this at full price. Wait till it's $15-20, because that's what it's worth. A few quick reasons why:

- Painfully short campaign (~4 hrs), with little/no replay value.

- Lack of replay value is because the classic Resi level design is GONE. No exploration, no puzzles, no getting to know an interconnected area more intimately as the game goes on. You get a series of hallways that string together set pieces.

- These hallways are often PACKED with Zombies. If you played Resi 2 Remake, do you remember the combined locker room/showers on 2F of the RPD? There are about EIGHT zombies packed in there. Lickers are now put on unavoidable paths where they stalk toward you, giving you no chances to evade them (and thus robbing them of much of their tension in Resi 2).

- Nemesis is a huge DOWNgrade from Mr. X. He has one sequence where he's chasing you in an open environment. That was great. I remember wondering how I could learn to deal with this guy, he was so much more difficult than Mr.X! Well not to worry, that first time is also the last time. He's then relegated to scripted events and garbage boss fights.

All up, you can skip this one. Everything it does right (zombie resilience, graphics, controls, etc) is only good because it's been cribbed from Resi 2. Wait for a steep sale.
