ESEA is definitely a huge improvement over regular matchmaking in CS:GO! ESEA has better ranking/Elo system, better servers (128 ticks), more engaged players (no trollers) and possibility to join leagues and teams and win prizes. However, unless you are a Legendary Eagle Master – Global Elite, you should not join ESEA, otherwise it is pointless and not fun for you. ESEA is a very competitive platform and your teammates will expect a lot more from you than from a regular matchmaking team. Just try ESEA for yourself and you'll find that it's a lot more fun than regular Counterstrike and well worth the money.
