It's fun. Vanilla gameplay can get a little boring after a couple hundred hours, but mods fully make up for that. And even without those, there's still tons to do. And modding the game isn't like minecraft, where it ruins the vanilla feel with things like OP armor or new blocks. In this case, OP means bigger booms, and new blocks means the armor blocks that should exist but don't. Mods feel like vanilla, but enhanced.

And don't evoke Clang. He doesn't like it when He gets evoked.
