Game is solid, despite the bugs and crashes. My experience on PS5 was prettier, but more unstable. Here it's considerably more stable, but more visual bugs. If you're worried about immersion, waiting is fine.

Overall I'm extremely satisfied with the game, so much so that I'm on my second run. The game is lush and full of intrigue and phenomenal stories and characters. Considering as of writing, its a bit criminal that only 11.9% of players have finished the prologue.

The game will get more polished, but its good now. Enjoy.

A quick and surprising take on how you should live your life. While beating chairs to death.

Well, that was a trip. The sheer amount of quality and thought that was put into the workings of Paradise Killer is a sight to behold. Running around the island the game is set within is densely packed with secrets and clues to lead you further in your investigation. The voice clips were slightly jarring, but most did their duty of adding personality to the already vibrant and zanny cast of Paradise Killer. Also the music is god tier, and is an integral part of the experience.

This is an easy purchase for anyone seeking deep lore, a deeper set of mysteries to uncover, and loves to run around in a sandbox world to do so.

Disappointed by this title. Normally a big supporter of Kitfox, but this one felt a bit rushed and short to me. The normal level of quality is there, the three cases you solve in the game are fun and interesting, if a bit obvious. Where I feel let down is in the execution of the ending, it felt like only half the game was told as the story is a clear sequel bait ending with no real closure.

If this had been seen through to the end and we got the conclusion after the chapel, it would easily be worth the retail price. Unfortunately, this feels more like a playable teaser, and should be bought on a heavy sale if anything. I can't recommend this, sadly.

Stage 2: Understand that what you see is meaningless, it's all the ball.
Stage 3: Understand how the ball is going to screw you and screw it back.

Excellent game, surprisingly sad story that really hit home with little exposition and one of the few games I got so mad at that I was determined to beat it in one sitting.
And I did. Go play this.

It's mini-golf with your friends. If you like mini-golf and shenanigans and want to no longer like your friends, you're golden.

An excellent prototype that looks and feels promising. There's a solid amount of fun to be had, but not a lot of depth at this time. If you want more than a few hours of entertainment, you may wish to wait. That said, Craftopia does a lot of things well, but not amazing.

Excited to see what this brings in the future, will update this review when a sizable update occurs.

Control lies in a world where everything feels just off enough to make your skin crawl, and I love it. The gameplay is fast paced and fluid while remaining challenging, the story is well crafted and flows nicely, and the characters are (mostly) all interesting and have decent depth and development.

Thankfully this has come to Steam, as it is well worth your time and money. Grab Control if you're interested in a paranormal thriller and an excellent ride, on sale or otherwise. Got a solid 21 hours of taking my time while also completing the two included DLCs and there is still plenty more to sink my teeth into.

In relation to its plot and pacing, Control's story structure is unusual compared to most conventional means which makes it shine for me. The story does not spoon feed you details, you need to either interpret context clues or search for answers in the many different documents and audio logs strewn throughout the game. The game concludes, but does not wrap itself up neatly, partly to lead into one of the DLCs, but also partly because that's just the sort of narrative this delivers.

When considering graphics, this is one of the best looking games you can find on the PC. Even on a subpar system, I was constantly impressed with the level of detail and presentation constantly. The level design itself can confuse, as the building the game operates within itself is a supernatural thing, it can lead to dead-ends or other loops that lead you away from your goal. That said, never personally had much of an issue finding where I needed to go, as the map overlays with your game with a simple Tab press.

The challenge of the game varies wildly and can depend greatly on what you favour in combat. Sticking mostly to the telekenisis route, there were few enemies that caused issues until later in the game where I had to swap up tactics. The amount of weapon configurations and powers you add to your arsenal is not staggering, but can offer enough customization in your loadout to provide the ability to change up your playstyle as desired.

Overall extremely satisfied, and while the mystery and intrigue within is what drove me through the first, I can easily imagine a second playthrough in the future.

Amazing game, played it on the PS4 and now here. The main difference is this version crashed to desktop constantly.

Do not buy until patched, it is nigh unplayable.

EDIT [09/01/2020]: Played for more than an hour without crashing. It appears the recent patch might have resolved my issues, but check other reviews and any friends who might be having issues as well.
I cannot stress enough, do not buy this until it is stable. It is a great game, but you can't enjoy it if it doesn't work. Cautiously recommending for the time as my own issues have been resolved.

The pinacle of Superhot and a fruther refinement of what made the original so snappy and polished.

I loved the original enough to 100% it, and I feel that with this entry as well. Its blisteringly fast pace despite the slow-mo fighting keeps you on edge and at the tip of your seat. Combined with excellent tracks from Zardonic interlaced in some of the levels, you have a fun and familiar formula for a great game. Hard not to recommend.
