Guys, I think I've become great assets to the company

Like what anyone said, it's more like a hunting game instead of souls-like even though there are still a few element in it. You get quest from corpses, hunt the Mage, obtain their material, upgrade your gear, and progress the story.
There are some covenant also and unique item from their leader to purchase later.

My concern is, the Mage we hunt will always spawn on the exact same spot we fought earlier immediately (You just defeated the mage, and they will be appear again even if you don't rest on bonfire statue).
No parries but we get instant blocking in this game, which not really my cup of tea.

So, is it worth to play? YES. It has it's own element of fun.

But really a disappoinment as the sequel of previous game. I hope I can give it neutral review, but I set my expectation too high, it hurts. I'm sorry.

Barbarous Funera is straight up banger. 4 unlocked Gear's skin is a also worth the price while on sale.

I saw someone using swordsoul just to summon protos pass while calling a fire. Honestly tenpai is good addition to the game.

On my 5th losestreak while repeatedly telling myself, my draw will be better on the next game.

Huge replayability value and satisfying feedback from gameplay especially combat. There are other cases like certain bosses or platforming area that lean more to annoying rather than challenging, but overall it's great experience for 2D souls-like.
What blows for me is fatigue and wounded system. Casting spell cost your max stamina, getting hit too much reduced your max health, it feels like the game try to punish you for strolling too far without resting on sanctuary.

Animal spirit catches my interest and it's all worth to check out

Everything on this game is mid at best to be honest. I wished the combat is as fluid as those ripped clothes animation.
