No EA, No Origin

It's an EA game alright

Physics and handling is much arcadish, cars feel slightly more suspended and sensitive
Causal friendly but still thrilling
AI is pretty much non existent, no challenge even on Hard
Visuals and car sounds slightly cleaner than 2019, but pretty much the same
Progression is full grind

The story mode is the biggest crime. What they did to TOCA/Grid franchise and its legacy Characters is what disney did to Luke and star wars. Made Ryan and Nathan cheaters, evil, losers and just trashed them and let the new diverse, tokenised, stereotypical characters walk all over them as the new status quo, basically symbolising EA spitting on codemasters.

The game is still alright but get only on a deep reasonable sale. 2019 is pretty much the same game, much much cheaper.

I don't know what the f* I just played but I loved it.

Probably the worst expansion yet, FH3 version was somehow better because this does nothing special. The story and progression was dull and a chore, never went back after completing it and still dont want to. The number of provided cars are again very limited.

Considering its a fictional world in a video game and an expansion based on a children toy brand made of the coolest concept cars and world settings, the people making this expansion either have the worst imagination and creativity or had their hands tied, either way this map sucks.

To put the cherry on top, all the issues the base game has, including bad LOD, broken textures, particle pixelation and low res sky map, not only its still not fixed, its even more visible here.

Probably will be the same with Expansion 2, they literally dont give a s* about PC, Caution when buying Forza hereafter.

It trades off closed strategical missions with sequential open battles, linear combos that restricted number of officers with more tactical shared reactionary chain mechanics allowing a lot more characters to play with. The open world quality isnt up to standard but does the job of emulating free roam and exploration.

It does things differently but Its a great musou nonetheless. MUST PLAY

The writing/narrative and the soundtrack are one of the best out there, almost perfect.
