Early Access Review
Very good game. Fun, gritty, good graphics and art direction, extremely good atmosphere. Can't wait to see what this game has in stores with the coming updates !

Throwing the words "best game ever" around is often a brash move, but to me, this feels like the best game I ever played. Graphics complement the story, which is awesome, amazing voice-acting, wonderful music, nice replayability as well, I think I finished it three times yet it still feels amazing and refreshing to start again. 10/10, would strongly recommend.

I played Metro: Exodus and its two dlcs (Sam's Story and the Two Colonels) and finished it in about 33 hours (although I should mention I did not stop and gather every collectible and complete each and every side quests). And boy, did it feel good. I really enjoyed that game, and even if the premise did not hype me, the big reveal at the beginning got me good. I like how the game was segmented into different open maps that did not feel too open (as in, too many things to do), or not enough (as in, too restricted by the scenario), I thought the range of enemies as amazing, and the unique way to tackle each kind of them as very creative at times ! I strongly recommend playing it on hard, it felt very authentic and challenging at times, it really puts you into the shoes of a post-apocalyptic struggling survivor fighting against radiations, mutants, and bandits.
The characters were all great, except for maybe one or two who feel too cartoony and cliché, the scenario was very good and believable, and the ability to greatly customize your weapons added another layer of immersion and freedom to the way you tackle the game mechanics. The stealth mechanics were also very good, which is something that is often overlook in shooter-type games nowadays, and the music complements everything in a very nice manner. Overall, the level of immersion is stellar, thanks to gorgeous visuals, amzing sound design, and heavy atmosphere. Overall, 9.5/10. The only reason I dont feel I can get that game a full 10/10 is because, very often, while trying to walk down (and up) sets of stairs, my character would get flung over the railing at high velocity as if he wasn't wearing several kilos of gear and weapons, and thrown off a window or a cliff.
Very good game, would strongly recommend playing.

Early Access Review
Very decent early access game. Very promising. Clearly a big step-up from the other games in the franchise. Can be a bit overwhelming if you are not used to the game mechanics, and I would have hoped for more fleshed-out quests (especially the main one about finding your family). However, the sandbox mechanics are extremely pleasant to use, the fact that just when you think you have finally done everything that you could in the game, all the mechanics you were used to suddenly get an upgrade (IE: you get the ability to recruit more troops, to gain more influence within your clan), which in turn allows you to a much more different play style you were used to, is very cool. The graphics upgrade is also appreciated, the fact that your armour and weapons move around when you walk is a very cool detail as well. The FPS view is very well done as well, very claustrophobic when you handle a shield, very immersive. Speaking of immersion, actually having different types of weapons equipped in your gear is now important. Realistically, a sword won't deal the same kind of damage to an enemy wearing a chainmail armour than to someone wearing a linen cloth. In that case, an axe or a polearm is the way to go against mail. It's a very nice add, which helps with immersion (given that in the previous ones, as soon as you got your hands on a double-handed bastard sword you'd instantly win the game because of the sheer amount of base damage it would deal to anyone.). The progression system is also very nice, it forces you to choose between perks and not be a god of skills like in the previous ones, it helps with roleplay and immersion as well. The only complaint I have at the moment is that there are few musics to the game. They are very well done and very epic (especially the one in the main menu), but tend to be repetitive after a while. I would also complain about some bugs, but the dev team is very quick to release patches and fixes to the game, and since it's an early access game, some bugs are to be expected. Overall, I would strongly recommend the game on the sole fact that I have sunk 31 hours in the game and never got bored makes me adamant about how good and badass it is.

Amazing game. Got me hooked in 20 minutes. Stellar voice acting, amazing concept and game mechanics. Very nice storytelling, super dope graphics and artworks, grandiose music, had an absolute blast playing the game and would definitely recommend it to everyone who might be interested.
