Aliens: Fireteam Elite has pretty good game play that doesn't really hold your hands, so it might take awhile to get familiar with everything the game has to offer. It's a bit jarring to have 3 players to a fireteam rather than the standard 4 to a fireteam. If your team has an decent understanding of their class and firearms, you can expect to go through the game with some challenges, but overall with success. The game only has 4 main missions, with 3 sub-missions for each mission with a Horde mode once the campaign is complete. The game can get repetitive, but its just the beginning for this game and I can see a lot of DLC and modding coming to it in the near future.

Great game that is still in development, unlike other alpha or beta releases where they stay in dormancy for months or even years, Squad does a good job of letting the community know what is happening and does frequent updates.
I will say though, if you're used to fast pace first person shooters, this game will hurt you in the beginning. Once you understand the pace of the game, you'll be stuck playing it non-stop for hours.
It's also a great game to play with friends as the function to create squads and to lock them is a nice addition, but don't get me wrong, this game is still about teamwork and thus you must communicate with the rest of your team and try not to waste resources messing around.
Overall great game and I don't see myself getting bored of it.

Edit: I'm more experience from my last review, game play is getting better. One gripe I have about this game is that unfortunately content is slow. You really have to rely on the community to add content and make the game more engaging.
