YOU GET TO BE A BUG

Puzzles are good, and most importantly the setting/environment is fantastic. Channeling some HR Giger with the biological mechanisms, absolutely beautiful.

Wonderful game. Beautiful atmosphere and setting. Lovely soundtrack.

Difficulty is comparable to the NES like Zelda games, in that the game itself does not openly tell you what to do or where to go next, you have to use context clues and the charmingly retro in-game manual. Anyone familiar with the NES/SNES or Gameboy era adventure games will adore this aspect.

Combat is not easy but not hard, and definitely not difficult. Requires at most memorizing attack patterns and being creative with item and equipment use. The combat does not feel unfair, mechanics are introduced slowly so by the time you find a boss there isn't really a mystery of how to fight it. If anything, it stays closer to the difficulty of earlier Zelda games.

Amazing game, loved it, takes a simple mechanic and runs with it while telling an excellent story. Music was great, limited-pallete art style was fantastic. Finished in 3.5 hours, worth every dollar.
