It's crazy that this game is even allowed on Steam in this state. The game itself is good, but since they removed the launcher, I, and a lot of others, haven't been able to start the game, seemingly no matter what we do. If you're interested in purchasing the game, I'd recommend waiting until the issue has been fixed.

Bought the game yesterday, and have already spent almost 12 hours with it, even without playing with friends. Everyone I've met have been incredibly friendly and a ton of fun to play with. There's so much depth to a lot of the systems in the game, but despite of that, I haven't found the learning curve to be bad at all. The tutorial pretty much gave me everything I needed. The addition of proximity voice chat is also amazing, and while it can be hard to determine which direction a sound is coming from, it allows for hours of fun, talking to both my own team, and the enemy. I've only really played as a medic, but I plan on trying out all of the other roles over the course of the coming wars.

First off, I'd like to say that this type of game usually isn't for me. Despite that, I actually had a really good time with this one. Now, I've only really finished the main story and a few side quests, and I don't plan on playing it anymore, as I feel I've had my fill.

The main quests are great and tell a cohesive and interesting story that really dragged me. A thing I don't like about the main story however, is that it's full of things that feel like side-quest content. I was constantly asked to travel long distances just to go talk to someone. To me, that's just boring. But even with these boring objectives, the game remained fun and engaging due to its many great mechanics. Mostly everything you do feels realistic and makes you feel immersed in the world. And most of the things you do in the game, progresses you in some form or another, and you really feel the growth of your character in pretty much every way.

As I said in the beginning of the review; I'm not really into these kinds of games. With that in mind, I can't even imagine how much fun this would be for someone who's into these sorts of realistic, semi-hardcore games. I had fun, and if you give it a couple of hours to pull you in, I'm sure you'll find it fun too.

Honestly just a great concept for a game. The horse riding and shooting feels incredibly satisfying, due to all the feedback. I have encountered a few bugs, but nothing that ruined the experience at all.

I'd love for Landfall to release at least a single "major" update for this game, adding a few more guns, and maybe some risk-reward things to do between towns. Maybe give us some camps in-between towns, where loot is plentiful, but you still take damage if night comes around. Just an idea.

I've just had a ton of fun in-general, and while there isn't much content, it's more than enough considering I got it for free. But with the price being increased to $6, I think just a little more content is close to necessary for people to buy it.

Before playing this, the only FromSoft game that I had played and beaten was Dark Souls 3, which I loved. So going into this, my expectations were high. I'm happy to say that my expectations were met though, and I have now finally beaten Isshin after 19 hours. I bought the game at full price, and it was totally worth it. I'll definitely be playing through it again.

I haven't spent that much time in the game currently, but the time I have spent has been great. All I've done is gone around looking at what all the other players have made through the years, and to me, just that has worth the $9 I bought the game for on Humble Bundle.

I only really met a couple of players, but the ones I met were extremely friendly and were happy to take time out of their day to show me around, proud of what they had built in the game. Calling them extremely friendly might even be an understatement. This game clearly means a lot to the veterans who've been playing it for a long time, and their love for the game is reflected onto you when you talk to them, which makes the experience so much better. I could ramble on about the players for hours, but I'm going to stop it here.

From what I've seen, there are a bunch of resources in the game and loads of things to make. I definitely felt overwhelmed when I jumped in, as there was just so many things to learn about and look at.

The game features a plotting system, allowing you to make small camps, settlements, towns and even big cities. If you've ever played Towny in Minecraft, then this is it, but an entire game built around it.

There's so much to love about this game, despite its steep learning curve. I hope the Humble Bundle puts a bit more life into the game, as I'd love to see it grow.
