It's a fun sequel to the other Spider-Man game where Miles takes on a story of his own. It's not a bad game by any means. It's still the same, while also adding Miles' own new-to-being-Spider-Man twist to it with how his combat and swinging works and NY also has winter now. The story is a pretty typical comic book hero one where the good guy believes in the bad guy. It's worth the paying price for sure.

I like how Miles has style, something Peter never really had. There's just something that makes you go "yeeeah that's really good" about the music style (minus the using world sounds because that was terrible lmao) and the dressing style. The characters are really likable for the most part. Just like in the previous one, the characters just kind of stick with you for some reason. Especially Teo with his Spider-Man cat which is adorable and hilarious.

Though I do have my complaints. With Miles being what is referred to as a "person of color" or whatever, there's naturally some shoehorned BLM-esque stuff in there which I'm not a fan of. Not everyone is about that life. Fortunately it's not a very prevalent thing so I kind of frowned for a second and moved on with my life. The story has good pacing, except for the end where everything just kind of happened all at once.

First, the main villain. I liked the heading at first but then this person just flipped a complete 180 because of... why again? There's a whole big story to the Tinkerer that involves Miles, but then all of that is just completely thrown out the window because "u lied!!1" even though this person lied just the same but the Tinkerer gets special treatment because she's a girl? I don't know man the reaction from the Tinkerer didn't seem like a reaction an ordinary person would have to the circumstances they were both in.

Then there's the Prowler. Miles just lunges at him because "i must protekt peoples!!!!" What, the Prowler isn't a person? Like come on, dude. I felt like they fought just for the sake of adding in a cool boss fight, rather than having a real good reason to throw down, especially with what we find out.

All in all it's a good enough story, with a great sense of style, comedy that made me chuckle more than a few times and characters to root for, even if sometimes I found myself rooting against Miles. Maybe this was on purpose, since after all he is basically a child and has a limited view of the world, albeit a very glass half full one. Get it and play it for yourself. It's something to get you to turn your brain off for a little while.

This is one of the very, very few games that I actually went out of my way to 100%. The gameplay is just so enjoyable. Swinging around New York just never gets old. The main story and the story from the first DLC are solid. Almost all characters are likable, the story progresses and we eventually lead to the Miles Morales game. The graphics are also impeccable. The city is just beautiful to marvel at and the acting is top tier.

Though I will say that the Sable character is not written very well. First she attacks you when you're obviously helping, then she warms up to you and leaves on a good note. You see her again at a later DLC and she attacks you again because you didn't tell her where the secret sauce is fast enough. The leader of this supposedly huge global, well trained, well funded, well armed PMC aims loaded guns at the guy who helped him unf*ck the mess she made because he didn't talk fast enough. The least likable character in the game and not because she's a bipolar b*tch but because she's just poorly written.

Another thing is the Screwball challenges. Whoever made these has a PhD in masochism. They're so awfully designed. Unless you're going for 100% just get the lowest grade and move on. Don't tear your hair out over trying to figure out what gives you the most points for xyz challenge.

All in all I'd heartily recommend the game. You get a good story and excellent gameplay along with it with 0 microtransactions which is honestly a miracle in this day and age.

I debated between recommending this game or not. But I'll have to lean more on the no side. The game's absolutely astounding graphics, acting and animations aside it really isn't that special of a game. I was hoping for a game that would keep me worried and fearful of what might come around the corner and it did do that for the first 10 minutes you're in the prison. But after that the novelty faded away.

The first excitement of fighting an enemy dies off right after you kill your first enemy when you realize all you have to do is just bob and weave once or twice and then keep clicking to kill them and this is the case for virtually every enemy in the game. The "boss" fights aren't fun or challenging. The clunky controls you have just make it frustrating when you're supposed to dodge the attack of the boss who 1 shots you but you can't because another enemy is attacking you, who you then can't attack because the boss will 1 shot you if he hits you. And don't even get me started on fighting multiple enemies at once. It's just frustrating when you die when it's not your fault you can't handle more than 2 at a time at most.

The story is so bleh and predictable. You can see the story's outcome a mile away. And instead of being an exciting horror experience, as they claim it was with how many people they've had to consult, it was just a tedious survival game towards the end. Unnecessary falls that would kill any human being 10 times over, constantly having to be separated from your allies, predictable jump scares, etc. Their whole schtick is "BOO! LOUD NOISE WHEN IT WAS QUIET! THAT WAS SCARY RIGHT?" pretty much throughout the game. It's just such a cliche filled Hollywood "horror" take. Speaking of cliches, naturally, the 1 person who you hate and who hates you grows fond of you in less than 15 minutes because "we have to work together". Like come on.

I'll play the DLC/expansion because I paid for it, but only because I paid for it and not because I'm actually really looking forward to it. This was such a sad let down for me. I've been looking forward to this game for such a long time. It's pretty to look at, but so are prostitutes and at least you know what you're paying for. Save yourself the trouble and watch a YouTube playthrough or something. There's no real deep lore to this game you'll miss out on if you watch a game movie type thing.

It's a solid game. It's just a new and improved Warband. Now that 1.0 is out, I'm really looking forward to the mods.

Edit: after the hot fix the crashes subsided and there was no more screen tearing so I was able to complete the campaign which is always the most exciting part for me. The campaign isn't as good as the 2019 one. First part of the campaign I didn't feel any real connection to it or a reason to care why I was doing what I was doing. But then it picked up, but then fell on its face again after the predictable "twist" that comes from the way certain characters and factions behave.

The acting is amazing, of course, but the story was very eh. And for the love of all that is holy do not play this game on veteran or realism. You'll be tearing your hair out at the (armored) enemies sniping you when you got one toe out of cover. They are way, way too overpowered. 2019's realism has nothing on this year's veteran difficulty. It's not even fun or challenging it's literally just unfair and frustrating.

Multiplayer is solid as always, minus that one map we all don't like. Lots of guns and game modes. Looking forward to WZ2.

I'd recommend this for a $40 price tag, not necessarily 70.

Old: I couldn't resist the temptation to play the campaign since 2019's was so good. But in the short while I've had this game open, like an hour has been spent constantly rebooting into the game because it crashes all the damn time with no rhyme or reason.

70 dollars for the state this was released in? Hella not worth it.

Not a big fan of this killer.

I didn't really play it since I didn't have that many people to play it with, but it's actually really fun. Even as a killer. I just wish Wesker got nerfed.

Honestly a worthwhile game. It's really goofy but definitely challenging at the same time. It's a fun game that doesn't take itself too seriously but has a lovable cast of characters. The story is wacky and nonsensical but I think that's the idea. I'm buying it when it's released.

All in all a good expansion but my god that matrix part was god awful. Worst part of the expansion.

A fantastic Star Wars and Lego game. Besides a few bugs here and there and some confusion with challenge descriptions, this is a game you can't say a whole lot of negative things about.
