I don't know how I haven't written a review yet. This is the best galaxy conquering game right next to Sins of a Solar Empire. Honestly just do yourself a favor and try it. At first it seems a little intimidating but it's not that big of a learning curve.

It's essentially Elex 1.5. The gameplay is the same, which is fine, but the story is very... bleh.

The whole delivery of the story is incredibly off center. There's a moment which I assume was meant to be a heartbreaking one for Jax which did not make me feel any kind of way whatsoever. Even Jax barely did anything to really express just how broken up about it he was. And Jax just doesn't tell the person you'd think Jax would need to talk to about this whole thing happening. There's no comment about it, no mention, nothing. Like it didn't even happen.

Then there's the whole other rest of the game where you're supposed to make choices which will then lead up to the final event and they just don't. None of your decisions matter. They have no weight.

The entire game you're building an army but in the end it's just you, alone, taking on swarms of the same mobs. The characters talk to you like they'll be there with armies to help, but really it's just you and whatever companion you decided to take along. Nobody else.

It's been a very disappointing experience. A contract to the first game. We find out some things about Elex but that's about it. I can't say I'd recommend this to anyone for how disappointing the delivery of the shoddy story is.

I'm sorry THQ, I know you guys tried but this just wasn't what I expected.

I haven't played through an entire campaign, yet, but so far it just seems like a reskinned Warhammer II. The GUI is the exact same, voice lines for the old races are the same, animations, too. It's a Warhammer game with some new features but I'm honestly not sure if creating a new map and a couple new races is worth asking for a full game's price again. Kind of feels like I just bought a big expansion pack for Warhammer II.

Also has a habit to crash when you alt tab on full screen mode. There's also some performance issues but not as bad as these crybabies make it seem. MUH 240 FPS. Shut up. It's fine. It'll get better.

So far I've had a blast playing it. I haven't had any connectivity or performance issues or crashes. Everything runs smoothly. The only real gripe I have is that the progression system is stuck behind a paywall. Much like Call of Duty's battle pass. And even if you do have the battle pass you have to do challenges to actually progress through it. With there being 100 levels this will take hours daily to grind through.

Not a good progression system if you want to reward players for their time and effort tbh. Not that it'll be removed because I already saw a bunch of people who had progressed through it (meaning they paid for levels) and it'll rake in a bunch of money for them.

Though I do eagerly await the campaign. This is just the review for the multiplayer right now.

I do like this game. It's got a heartwarming story, a family dynamic that one can only imagine going through and it just looks and feels pretty great. I'd recommend anyone who enjoys slow paced exploration games to play this. It's a very cinematic oriented game, so don't expect crazy action scenes.

I do have gripes with it like the political pandering of how rural Americans are bad people and immediately racist for really no particular reason other than "muh country." Sometimes the voice acting is a little weird since there's a lot of sighing which no normal person does in conversation. The story was sometimes pretty nonsensical. How Daniel, at one point in the game, almost gets Sean killed because... why again? You'll see when you get there.

All in all it's got ups and downs. I think it's a step down from Life is Strange 1, but still worth playing in the end with reason to play through a second or maybe even a third time.

While I haven't gotten to the endgame content yet, of which there doesn't appear to be a lot but the game only just came out, the game is fantastic. Great visuals with LOTS of things to do. The crafting is superb and if you've got friends to play with it's hella worth it.

I don't know how I haven't recommended Skyrim yet. Looking forward to it being released on the Playstation 11 in 2039.

I've been holding back writing a review about Days Gone. I wanted to complete it before reviewing it. I don't know what crack people are smoking when they say this is a bad game. This game is an absolutely amazing narrative experience. The story is believable and shows how imperfect of a man Deacon St. John is. There's no big hero that goes and saves the day with choppers (helicopters, anyway) and huge explosions and armies. Sure, there are explosions and explosions and maybe the end felt a little rushed, but it all made sense. There wasn't any pandering to any one side, there wasn't any one crazy villain, it was everyone just making the most of the terrible world that they were in.

I'd give this game a 9/10 only because the voice work sometimes felt a little off. Like sighs and exaggerated panting, but besides that the acting and voice work is nothing short of spectacular. I'd recommend ANYONE to play this. It's a very, very rewarding experience in the end and well worth the long playthrough.

Stop listening to these snobs who immediately throw a fit over 2 glitches and bugs "BAD GAME SO BUGGED". Play the game. It has so much to offer. I'm just immensely saddened we won't be getting a sequel.

Not sure why I haven't given this a rating, yet. It's one of the best space RTS games you can find with excellent mods for it for universes such as Halo or Star Wars. Though it is running on an aged engine which makes endgame laggy. Besides that it's an amazing game.

It's fun to explore and there's so many different avenues for story choices that affect one thing or another. But by god the combat is AWFUL. Not to mention the lack of proper scaling.

There's no rhyme or reason to where you meet what level enemies. None that I can discern anyway. I'd suggest getting it for sure just for the story alone. I keep playing it to keep discovering what other stories there are to learn about.
