Early Access Review
> grind your character for hours
> suddenly find yourself in the middle of a horde, but somehow make it out alive
> notice that you got scratched but think it's no big deal
> see the queasy pop up in the upper right corner and go through five stages of denial
> finally, accept the reality and give your character a dramatic ending

what a game, do recommend...

This game is the reason why I've developed an interest in anime. You decide if it's a good thing or not.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a game I've probably played the most in my teenagehood. I ended up burying more than 1k hour to this game. Even though it was good while it lasted, I actually can't tell if it was worth it for me to spend that much time on it.

Anyways, I do think that my view on CS:GO is not relevant anymore since we got ourselves a Counter-Strike 2, so what I'm gonna do instead is, I will share my thoughts on the new title. Before I get into any details, if you want me to keep it short and tell my straight opinion on it, I would say... I didn't like it. To be honest, when I first heard that CS:GO will get a huge update and rebranded as CS2, I was expecting Valve to show companies like Blizzard how to actually update your game and make it better in a way that it deserves their title to get changed, but I got disappointed instead. I know, it can be a little early for me to say this because who knows? Maybe this game will turn out to be crazy good in the future, but I pretty much doubt that. If you are going to ask me about my complaints, I can try naming a couple: Everything being much more colourish. Our character's movements feeling really slippery. Because of tick rate change, even though our shots being "accurate" the gameplay feeling delayed. Sprays and flicks feeling much different, but in a bad way. While some maps like Inferno getting a huge update, others just getting small to no update.

At the end, I gotta say I don't think I will play this game as much as I did back in the days. Obviously, one of the biggest reason for that is because personally I'm losing my passion for competitive games, but even if I still had that passion, I don't think I would choose this specific game to spend my hours on. Of course, I can still give it a chance and download it back to play couple matches on it out of nostalgia, but it's less likely for me to grind on it like I did in the good old days... At least not while it is in this state.
