so. i'm a xiri fan. i've been waiting for the new chapter of hitme for quite some time, and that means i've had some... positive bias, as i loved the first two games. though, as i've just finished the third game, i can't tell if i recommend starting from this one. it'll still be a lovely experience, just more abstract, because hitm3 doesn't focus on its character cast. instead, it feels more like an author's experiment: it stands out in the perspective of the rest of the parts, but not enough to be a completely independent game. so it can be a problem if you're a steam player only and about to buy this game — not just that your experience as a new player will differ, but you'll have to go on itch to read the original visual novel (do it, it's amazing!)

hitm3, just like the previous parts, has its own pace, but as it is no longer a visual novel, you would rather get used to A LOT of running on the same maps from one corner to another, or just chill and enjoy completing little quests. basically, 3/4 of the gameplay consists of it, and if it'd annoyed me a little the first half of the game, as soon as i tried to enjoy the process, it actually worked out for me

so, what is hitm3? if you ask me, it was like an acid dream: very vivid, romantic and colourful, but at the same time mundane and full of nice tiny details. i esteem not only how the game looks, but also how it sounds — the music references to the first chapters as well, but it has a bunch of new awesome tracks that, you know. HIT me. hehe

beside some problems with the game's pace of the narrative, i, to be honest, didn't have enough of dialogues between my favourite characters. although i understand that xiri probably wanted to focus on the visual and story only, but it still felt a bit unusual. not in a bad way tho. it is still a very enjoyable game, but now in a bit more sensory way. beautiful
among other things, there is one obvious drawback: you can't pet a dog. at all. your boyfriends can pet it, but not you. i hope xiri will fix it next time, wink.

it actually amazes me that such nice games as hitme can be made basically by just one person. otherwise they'd probably lose their specific charm — the author's vision under a minimum of external influence. hitme is definetly one of the projects through which you can get to know the author without ever meeting him

оставило бы больше впечатлений в виде комикса, но не визуальной новеллы

очень странная новелла, но скорее рекомендую, хотя бы просто чтобы знать на что все эти лохи из двухчасовых титров потратили свои деньги. надеюсь, рита не приберет мои 400 рублей, и что-нибудь да перепадет художникам и композиторам

люблю эби всем сердцем, но конкретно айдол - безвкусная и дешевая конфетка в блестящей обертке.
персонажи, сценарий, картинка - всё скучное и уже после часа чтения начинает давить на голову, отчего хочется побыстрее либо дочитать, либо наконец выключить. но побыстрее ты не дочитаешь - это не самая короткая новелла авторши (и, что удивительно и не сходится со впечатлениями, далеко не первая). и самое печальное - то, что в эту кашу из кучи странных персонажей и не менее странного сюжета явно была вложена любовь
деньги не тратьте, лучше почитайте что-нибудь от эби посерьезнее и с историческим контекстом. дарковый жанр ей дается гораздо лучше
