This game is good.

One of the universe's top penguin-type games. Genuinely very fun game, even if it's janky.

Nuh uh! I don't think... that you should buy this one... cause... well... it's not super compatible with our modern machines! Brent halligan is far too classist to be compatible with modern operating systems, and the steam release is missing some files, so I've spent 4 hours playing this game and like 6 or so hours howling at discs like a cyber-wolve at the moon analogue that it worships. Strange arena survival game. Very good, with complex mechanics. Largely pretty easy except for the Genius character in my experience.

For better or worse, this is the best all-around video game that there is.

Yet another wonderful game of wizards and spellcraft in which you play as a flimsy little thing. Very difficult, at least for me.

Having recently completed the main storyline, I can confidently say that, even in its current state, this is the best-written and best-presented roguelike I have ever played. There is a wide variety of characters you can play even for a roguelike, and the procedural sultan secrets system is super cool, although a little underused. There is still plenty I have not done in this game after 200 hours.
