I like the concept of the game and its off to a great start but it definitely is still in the Alpha/Early access stages. A little touch up to the combat and get the hit registry to be on point and we're definitely on the way!

With the ethernet cable hooked up it runs great! Use it specifically to get picture and sound from my HTC Vive to my TV since nothing else I tried worked. Works ok without the ethernet cable but does drop FPS and can lag with more intensive games. All in all def worth the price imo.

This game is great. Its early access now and the amount of interaction and update from the devs has been pretty spot on. They released a patch in beginning of Aug that was accompanied by lag and frame rate drop issues. They found out and started to fix it within hours making it back to normal the next day. Everythings not perfect and sometimes when stuff gets released to a large crowd something unpredictable happens the part that makes or breaks it is the devs response to said issues. As for the "Micro-Transactions", They put a crate out there which can be bought free (With in game points) but cost $2.50 USD to open the case with proceeds going to CHARITY and the FIRST Tournament prize pool for the game and will be removed at conclusion of said tournament. People complaining about this and saying they arent putting the time into fixing a game that gets weekly and monthly patches to improve it are dumb.

May change review to negative and stop playing in near the future if the developers keep going on with banning people for stupid reasons such as honking the car horn they implimented due to it annoying people.

Great game, If you enjoyed harvest moon 64, this game gives the same feel just adds a lot more content which flows well with the game. Lots of stuff to do will 48 hours in no where near done.

The game was very enjoyable to play and kept my attention making want to keep going or get back on and play. Few things in the game that I like/can use improvement.

Pros:

Gameplay is fun, worlds had different monsters to fight and even change with the day/night cycle. I liked that there are boss fights as well to progress further and that it requires some tactics to defeat them. There are a lot of different worlds to explore and most come with dungeons and such to clear out or if you really explore can find random hidden caves with chests and more.

Cons:

I have about 17 hours on the game and im pretty much done with the content they have out at the moment for 1 class (Only played as an Archer). Ive got my best armor and weapons, beat all the levels and reached worlds end, done the special events etc. I can go back and replay as another class. I did like the boss fights especially the last one and wish they would throw in some mini boss levels or secret boss levels that branch from others to drop special gear or something. There are tons of gear sets to get which is great but some of the items are not itemized right, such as one pair of gloves taking 4 silk and 3 gold bars for 60 armor 100 hp and then another pair that gives you 100 armor and 100 hp for 5 silk and 3 gold bars (Not exact stats but examples as there are multiple items like this) and the armor sets should have a set bonus for wearing the full set, My gear as an archer is mismatched sets put together to get the most crit/crit dmg left me with 3 different sets of random gear.

The cons that I listed are more so based on the early nature of the game and personal preferences. I do not feel these were a deal breaker for the game and would recommend to buy it at 15$ (Or especially if discounted). I play a lot of these types of games (ARK, Empyrion, Minecraft, Rust etc got alot more) Build, farm/scavage, upgrade gear games, Portal Knights was enjoyable and kept me wanting more (Still do) Although I just got the game, Ive seen that the Dev staff is actively adding to the game too which is always a good sign. This game has Co-op multiplayer no PvP at the moment and I dont forsee in the near future if at all.
