Extremely fast-paced, fun, and addictive VR arena shooter. It's pretty much a zero-G VR version of Unreal Tournament 3. And that's a good thing.

There are really only 2 issues holding this game back from greatness.

1) Playerbase. The VR playerbase as a whole is extremely niche/fragmented, and like with most multiplayer only VR games, it shows. Expect to sometimes arrive in an empty lobby and wait for 5-10 minutes for a match. It's only happened to me once so far, but there have also been several instances where it was just me and one other guy so all we could do was duel each other. Expect this issue to become worse as time goes on so please, devs...for the love of god...*ADD OFFLINE BOTS*

2) Headset comfort. Unlike the first thing, this really isn't something the devs can remidy. Due to the nature of VR headsets (especially with the Vive), playing this for extended sessions is next to impossible. I usually play a game or 2 before headset fatigue sets in. Hopefully the Valve Index and other next-gen headsets will be more comfortable so I can actually enjoy these great games for longer than 20-30 minutes at a time.

As others have stated, this runs like absolute ass on the HTC Vive, even on a Titan X, 64GB of RAM, i7-2600k. Not only does it perform dreadfully, but the game is just flatout boring.

Pros:
>The landscapes are kinda cool

Cons:
>Terrible performance
>Minimal gameplay (puzzles and narrative that is few and far between - this is essetnially a walking simulator devoid of meaningful content)
>Controls (at least with the Vive trackpads) are wonky, impersices, and often unresponsive

After seeing outlets like Polygon praise this as a "timeless" and "an unforgettable experience", this is by far the biggest dissapoint I've had with a VR game so far. Thank god for Steam's refund system, or I would have felt utterly ripped off here.

I want my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money back.

My steam play time says 12 hours, but that's utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I left the game open accidentally when leaving for work and Steam somehow counted all of the idletime as playtime. In reality, I played the game for a little less than 2 hours before I knew exactly what it was - yet another dull collect-a-thon "survival" game; this time in space. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DayZ or Rust...but in space (and without the multiplayer). It is nowhere near the rich and engaging space exploration game that was promised numerous times by the developer.

Valve has denied my refund request 2 times now. Not acceptable. I have quite a bit of money saved up and one of the best civil litigation attornies money can buy...I'm seriously considering taking Hello Games and/or Valve to court over this.

It's the principle of the thing.
