The best game I've played since God of War.

Early Access Review
Hell of a great game but a bunch of problems on the Oculus Rift S. The opponents will sometimes not track me properly and I'll be inside them or swing at their head when they're not blocking and miss. I don't have this problem with the Oculus Rift (with cameras). Too bad - if you own a Rift S, consider this when thinking about buying this game.

If you own an Oculus Rift S, don't buy this game. There's poor support for tracking. Big, over the head swings make your weapon break. Ninja Legends never has this problem. If you have cameras it's fine. Anything without cameras won't work well. Sucks, because this is a fun game (other than the wobbly weapons that are frustrating).

Early Access Review
I can't stress enough that this is an early access review. This game has HUGE potential. The fact that the devs responded to me makes me wonderfully hopeful.

I played an early build of this at a GDC party and loved it. Not being able to physically move isn't as big a problem as you'd think and it completely eliminates any potential motion sickness. Additionally, the action comes to (and surrounds) you, you don't need to move.

If you want a fun work out, buy this GORN and Thrill of the Fight. They've added a lot since the demo I played and it's still Early Access so more to come! I highly recommend this and expect it to explode on YouTube channels.

Update:
I got to later missions and it's insane. You're attacked from all sides, high and low, and you can't move back. I realize this is early access so I'm altering my feedback to reflect that. You DO need to move back in late game. Due to the limited peripheral vision I'm usually flailing in a circle, hoping to hit one of the many ninja stars that is probably attacking me from an unseen direction. Massively frustrating.

I'll definitely recommend this game if that's handled in some way. I'm playing on Normal - maybe set an easy where enemies attack from all angles much less or at least not in groups? Or, dare I say, allow the player to move? I don't think the level will allow for that, though.

Clearly not finished. Can't even get into the game - I will right click on the screen for days and nothing.

The controls are terrible. The whole game is very slow.

Adding to the chorus of enraged. Mods are free DLC and encourage the next generation of game designers. I've enjoyed mods since Odie's Theme Parks years and years ago.
