There's hidden depth to this game. You start out thinking the game is almost impossible but over time you can develop skill and mastery over the road. This reminds me a lot of playing Bloodbowl where probabilities and luck and positioning become complex decision trees that you have to manage over the long term of the run. Sometimes the quick choice is the costly one and survival while taking minimal exposure to damage is the key to victory.

It's kind of like Slay the Spire meets the zany over the top nature of Disgaea. It's fun to launch a swarm of chickens at the enemy. It is an easy romp that makes you feel good.

Fast and fun reminds me a little of FTL quirkiness.

Lots of choices and content for an early access title.

This is amazing. A rogue deckbuilder with a million combos and unlocks and challenges.

Not quite as good as Puzzlequest, but worthy of the name. I love the mechanics and have found myself playing it through twice so far.
