Playing this game for the first time six years after its initial release proved to be a delight in disguise. With all the memes and jokes established, I was finally able to understand what the fuss was all about back in 2011. Despite not having the best gameplay, story or graphics out there, something about this title just made me want to finish every quest I deemed worth completing.

A solid FPS-WRPG which gives players a wide variety of options to approach aspects of the game.
You can opt to prioritize hacking or combat skills to suit which play style you want to undertake.
You can choose to kill or simply neutralize characters which will change up the consequences resulting from your choices. Rewards players for taking time to explore the universe of the series.
The Director's Cut version of this game integrates the DLC which is a welcome addition. Great visuals and a sepia/yellow inspired color palette sets the tone of the futuristic plot with philosphical themes.
Character models are decent, it's probably because the game was released in 2011 which is why the hair textures are not as good -- which is a letdown since The Witcher 2 had good hair textures.
I never asked for this but Eidos Montreal has provided a solid entry in the acclaimed Deus Ex series.
All in all, bretty gud 9/10 would play again. Except for the fact that I can't start New Game+ because the game crashes right from the get go. Please fix this, Eidos Montreal!

Great RPG with good graphics and an immersive story. The combat system takes some time to get used to but it's not bad. There were some parts of the story that dragged too long like in the second act. The ending I got was quite underwhelming but maybe that was because of the decisions I made as I was trying to roleplay Geralt into a neutral character. Might go for another playthrough, choosing the other options that I did not pick in my first.
