I really love the history campaigns in this game. The only caveat is that the pathing in this game is horrendous. If you plan on micro-managing your troops and rotating wounded troops in a fight, forget it.

Unit group selecting and moving takes a new skill, as troops will always move from where you commanded them and never group up. This can make engaging times bad if you don't stop to force your troops to get closer together.

Runs really well on Linux and have had no issues with game breaking bugs.

I'd probably give multiplayer a try, but looks like this game is not as active as AoEII. I actually like the older history of the Bronze age, so It would be awesome if the dev team could polish up the clunky movement and allow for a competitive environment to inchoate.

I don't know much about the warhammer universe. When talking to fans about warhammer, they say that its just a game about war and the story isn't all that important. Just know that everyone hates each other and non-stop war is going on. Even though this game doesn't do anything to tell you about the warhammer universe, it's still fun to play and the story is engaging. Overall a fun and fast past RTS game with a massive universe that you will want to learn more about.

If you're on Linux, make sure to play on Proton 4.2-9. Any higher and you get unplayable lag when dealing with 20/20 population. For some reason playing on 4.2 takes away all the lag.

If you have a high refresh rate monitor, you can edit the local.ini file to increase the refresh rate to 144hrz.

The best Jedi simulation game I've personally ever played. Great missions, interesting story, choose to do good or choose to do evil towards the end, allowing for a second play-through which is really nice touch. Wish more games were like that.

With mods and a small multiplayer community, you can easily put more hours than intended into this gem.

Played this game as a youngling. Kyle Katarn #1. This game and Jedi Academy are some of my favorite classic games to play.

Very good game. Played it when it came out. I wish more Lord of the Rings game would come to steam, but here they're leaving. Sucks...

Still one of the best coop games I ever played. The devs keep handing out free updates too which just tells you how much they love the game they are making. The new content they release continues to impress me.. I was so impressed that I bought the support pack because I feel like developers like this deserve all the praise they can get.

This game is well worth the price tag.

Best RPG I've played. Really mature and dedicated online community too. it's never too late to get this game. You get a single player that can last you 200 hours and you get multiplayer with around the same amount of hours of fun. (Depending on how much you get involved into the community)

Put almost 3hr into the new CS2.

Put 2.4k hours into CSGO and I will admit, I like this update. After they fix some of the frame drops in some areas of the maps it will be good to go.

I took a really long break from the game so I have not been playing any competitive, just causal.

Things I noticed:
I like that I don't have to open up the console to edit my crosshair anymore.

I can use the search function in the menu to find the keys I want to bind.

They have leaderboards on public display which is cool. If I ever get back into this game, it would be nice to see where I could end up on the leaderboards.

The game lighting is better now, I can actually see enemies heads instead of having their textured heads blend into the environment like in CSGO.

The visual overhauls are really good and doesn't change the look and feel of CS like you know and love.

I feel like my shots actually register where I'm shooting now so, they must have improved server performance with this update.

I can see my legs...whoa ;)

I don't like that they offer a "Prime Status"... I've owned and played the game for over 10 years.... I should already be eligible for that with merit alone.

They took away all my achievements and removed the original CSGO...... why?

Don't know if I want to get addicted to this game again. Already wasted 2.4k hours of my life, but if I ever feel like playing a game, it will definitely be towards the top of my list of games to play.

This game is realllly great! I still like to play it, but the DLCs prices are a total rip off. Another problem with the game is that some of the monsters are unbalanced; unless you can kill them at stage 1 and he cant get his sheild back, you're doomed. Lost 18/20 times to the wrath and kraken. Btw, they can go 400 meters every 3 seconds, while you go 100 every 20 seconds. They can get away and get to stage 3 very easy.
