A Daniel Mulling masterpiece published by world famous Devolver Digital. The gameplay is familiar to other card games at first, but as you play the game you will realize that isn't necessarily true. The game's story takes great twists and turns, and the mix of gameplay styles set this game as a notch above the rest. The soundtrack deserves a commendation is this review as well, it is quite impressive. Mods to make the game more roguelike ensure the replayability does not suffer. Worth it for sure.

A classic rhythm platformer. Genre defining. Can be very difficult at times, so if you challenging timing based games, this is for you. My recommendation is to at least beat all of the main levels before tackling community maps so that you are practiced enough to enjoy the genuine art that some people make out of this game.

Sit on the Nuclear Throne! I still come back to this game every so often because it is such a classic roguelike. It's what roguelikes are made out of. It's challenging and unforgiving, but fair. I would say the strong point for this game is the replayability. There isn't a strong story progression, so it feels more arcade style. It is still worth buying for roguelike fans, you won't be disappointed.

This is another good roguelike game, but a bit more lite than the average. It is a deceptively tricky game mechanically wise, but once you get used to the function it's fluid. The game's humor is the cherry on top for sure, the designers don't miss a beat when it comes to the jokes. The game is completely built around corporate satire, and if that appeals to you, or you enjoy the odd dungeon crawler, then this game is for you.

This is my favorite roguelike game, hands down. I'll warn you though, you will need to purchase the DLC in addition to the base game to have a proper experience. I'll follow that up by saying the DLC is easily worth the extra money, basically functioning as entire additional games with the same mechanics. It's great!

At first launch, I would've said not to buy it. It was buggy, had very little content, and was only fun with friends. Happy to report it is still buggy, but now has more content. Enough to warrant solo play at least. It's fun as a casual experience.

Early Access Review
Everything from my Nuclear Throne review rings true for this game, but Nuclear Throne stopped updating a long time ago. That was a great game, and I think that this game fills the void it left behind very well, but also gives its own unique spin to the style. Considering how much fun it is in early access, the potential for a new classic is real.

After playing a few runs, I am VERY satisfied with the amount of changes made to the game. It feels refreshing playing this game with repentance. Oh, and the MUSIC is so good. Alt floors are completely new and I love the themes. And to top it all off this DLC is $15. I would have paid much more for this, given the amount of new content. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this is, even if you don't have the base game yet.

This game is a wonderfully crafted casual experience. It has good music, good level design, good visual design, and a good message. On top of all that, the perspective mechanics are thoughtful and innovative. The main campaign is a little short, but is compensated by challenge modes and workshop support. Overall, highly recommended to puzzle and casual fans.
