Better than MW2!

If you can get past the toxic playerbase, the abundance of overpriced DLCs and the horrid optimization, payday 2 is actually quite fun with friends!...

Seriously though, whats up with these DLCs? 5$ for overpowered attachments? People may make the argument of "you can still be good at the game without any DLC" but that still doesnt change the fact that these overpowered weapon / attachment packs make anything you use viable no matter what most of the time. Overkills 'anti-cheat' also fires up if you use a DLC unlocker, which means you cant use a DLC Unlocker and play multiplayer at the same time, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, considering the anti-cheat doesnt fire up with the most obvious of cheats.

This game's community is filled with toxic, jaded veterans that talk ♥♥♥♥ about you if you let them go into custody. Ive met VERY LITTLE friendly players in this game, Just save your time and dont play with randoms

While the games optimization CAN be fixed with mods, its just embarassing how OVK couldnt manage to optimize their own game so the community has to do it for them.

This game holds a special place in my heart, since its the first game ive played when i got my new computer, but i just cant reccomend it to anyone looking to play in 2024, Please go play payday 3.

Im sure the other five people playing this game think its great, but in the entire 36 minutes ive spent playing this game i couldnt find another human player, Im also not a fan of the fact that they made Quake a class shooter.

Its like Max Payne but hes in a suburban neighborhood and hes supplied by federal agents... And he also has an abundance of melanin in his skin.

Me and my brother spent half of our childhoods playing this game after we pirated it on our 2gb, pentium pc (still use same pc to this day), 50 hours on steam doesnt do this game justice, my brother alone has probably spent more than 200 hours playing on zombie survival and normal servers. game is (obviously) dated and is made redundant by games like CS:Source and GO to some extent, but its still a must-play like the first Half-Life just because of the impact it had on the gaming scene.

> gets gifted this game
> installing game
> while installing, go on discord and say "im gonna cry if i cant run this game"
> finish downloading
> try to play game
> error screen shows up
> turns off pc, cries in my bed for a good 20 minutes because i cant run the game

10/10 will cry again despite never actually being able to play the game

Unfortunately, due to valve's negligence of this game i cannot reccomend it to anyone. Bots have flooded the game! Its unplayable in its current state.

I have this many hours in the game solely because of me leaving my PC on overnight to grind, You dont really do anything in the game except pick out your squad nd their loadouts and then you send them out to battle for possibly hours (when i used to run this overnight on my pc the characters would still be fighting when i woke up).

The game is good, if you want a game running in the background grinding for you while you do work, But then again, every idle game is good for that so...

Timeless classic, In my opinion the only PVZ game worth playing (aside from the GW series but i wouldnt really consider that PVZ), This game and Bloons Tower Defense are the games that sucked me into TD games, and is the reason i love tower defense so much.

The game gets boring after you've beaten it, as theres nothing else to do other than go for the rest of the achievements or play survival minigames to sharpen your skills, I say sharpen, but really what i mean is "watch how long you can hold out against the zombies", PvZ doesnt really require much skill, as most of the towers you unlock (specially lategame) are super good. Usually i never struggled doing the minigames because of this.

Buy the game, Play if you havent already, Buy even if you have played, Game good.

My hours on this game may seem low on Steam, but on consoles and PC cracked versions i may aswell have about 50 to 70 hours in this game, This version of Vice City, despite not being available anymore, is absolutely the best way to enjoy the game without mods, Sadly the same cannot be said about San Andreas, with its various botched remasters and remakes, But this review isnt about San Andreas.

Play this game if you havent already, It has got to be one of the top 5 GTAs of all time, it offers an unique vibe to it, and its filled to the brim with Scarface references, which is one of my favorite movies, I may sound biased, but really, the game is just damn good, It has me coming back despite it being almost 21 years old this year (2023)
