About a year ago i upgraded to the steam edition, thanks to my buddy who gave me a steam gift card (: It is much better than the disk version, I.E better performance and optimization. Anybody who is a flight sim enthiusiast should get this game, although me and i presume many others have spent £100s on addons :p
